The Daltina Link Map
Sitting on the Sea of Diana and once the seat of an ancient kingdom, Daltina has a rich culture and history. Over the eras the city has become divided into several distinct districts that boast their own cultures and amenities. Outwardly, Daltina is happily part of the empire, but it does not forget that it was once a great kingdom. The city has faced many disasters, but has always managed to pull together and pull through the bad times, nobles and commoners alike.
Aurora District
The Aurora District dominates the centre of Daltina, consisting of the enormous once royal palace and the surrounding buildings. The Aurora District is the governmental centre of Daltina.
- Aurora Governmental Palace - Once the home of the King and Queen of Daltina, the palace is now the hub of activity for all the political goings on in Daltina, and houses most of the official offices and residential quarters for their holders.
- Aurora Palace - Chamber of the Council - The old throne room of the Daltina King and Queen, the Chamber of the Council is the council's meeting place, open to the public on every fifth brightening of a cycle.
- Aurora Palace - Office of the Aedile - The Aedile's Office of Daltina is the place to go for the buying and selling of property, job seeking, and anything to do with public works and the upkeep of the city itself.
- Daltina Constabulary - Located just to the west of the palace, this compound contains everything to do with city peacekeeping, including the jail and the city guard headquarters.
- Royal Bank of Daltina - One of the only private buildings in the Aurora District, the bank provides financial services for the people of the city including loans, the opening of accounts and the storing of valuable possessions.

Brightshadows District
The Brightshadows District, named after the academy that resides in it, encompasses everything that sits beyond the city walls to the west of Daltina. The academy itself stands on a large hill, with other establishments located to the north and south.
- Brightshadows Sorcery Academy - Administration Building - The Brightshadows administration building is the place the houses all the things that keep the academy ticking over. It is also home to the offices and living quarters of the teachers and the tower of the headmaster. Most importantly, it is the place potential new students need to go in order to enrol for arcana training.
- Daltina Ranger Hall - Nestled in the outskirts of the Maevewood forest, the ranger hall is Daltina's chapter of what is most probably the most famous and widely known of all the guilds of Aelyria.
- Flying Pegasi Stables - Situated to the South of the Brightshadows Sorcery Academy, Flying Pegasi Stables offers all sorts of horse related services including the sale and boarding of horses and training in horse riding.

Cheapside
What was once a nickname turned into the widely accepted title of the middle and lower class section of Daltina. The district is located in the southeast of the city, to the north of the docks. The houses are usually made of grey stone rather than the white marble that the nobles prefer.
- Abandoned Potter's Field - An abandoned graveyard in Cheapside that onced house the bodies of the poor and destitute when they left the world. It is now generally avoided.
- The Chapel of Diana - A poor, run down chapel dedicated to the goddess Diana, where the residents of Cheapside go to pray.
- The Cheapside Market - Covering a significant portion of the southeast of the city, the cheapside market is the biggest and busiest marketplace in Daltina.
- The Maevewood Gate - The entrance into the city from the east. People travelling from Prime through Charisma Pass and Sherian arrive by this gate.
- Mrs. Wainthrop's Boarding House - Situated at the north end of the district, the boarding house is perfect for people wanting to rent accomodation on a more permenant basis.
- The Tower of the Caretakers - The tower is inhabited by order of monks who inhabit a mysterious old tower. They guard the ashes of the dead and care for the sick. They are both feared and revered in the community.
- Zach's Herb Garden - A residential home that doubles as a place to buy herbs, providing one knows about it and where to find it.

Dargistown
Parts of the city that were inhabited by dwarven settlers in the days of the Kingdoms of Daltina and Dargis became known as Dargistown. These days, the majority of the dwarven population still lives there, along with a smattering of humans and halflings. Dargistown has many of its own shops and establishments, and visitors are always welcome, especially if they have money to spend. Dargistown is situated in the southwesternly area of Daltina.
- The Bearded Lady - Situated in the southerly portion of Dargistown, the Bearded Lady is for that discernible gentleman, preferably ones who like their women to sport a nice soft beard.
- Dragon's Breath Inn - An inn and popular dwarven drinking establishment, the Dragon's Breath is known for its cheap prices and saurid owner. It's the perfect stopover for travellers on a budget.
- The Iron Anvil - Regarded as probably the best blacksmith in Daltina, the Iron Anvil provides farrier services and general metal products such as nails and tools.
- The Midlands Gate - The entryway into Daltina from the wast. The Gate is used by anyone entering the city from places like Eastern Enamoria and Centripax.

The Grand District
The Grand District is the home of the nobles. It is split into three sections; the estates, the townhouses, and the royal concourse. This is where the nobles live and play in their home away from home, some of them even negliciting the duties of their land and staying in Daltina permentantly. The Grand District is fully of amusements, and educational establishments for those of the higher classes, among other things.
- Abandoned Necropolis - That which once had a different name, the 'abandoned necropolis' as it came to be called, sits on the east side of Daltina, avoided by the dead and the living alike.
- Hammer of the Gods - Located in the Grand District, the Hammer of the Gods is a dwarven run opera house that is the finest in Enamoria, if not outside of Jaedaxia.
- House of Whispers and Screams - Every city has rumours of a haunted house, and Daltina is no exception. Located at the very north end of the Grand District, the House of Whispers and Screams is a popular place for youths to prove their bravery... or not, as it may turn out.
- The Gem Cutter League - Daltina has long been known for its skill in the art of jewelcraft, and the Daltinan branch of the Gem Cutter League has often been considered the authority on the skill. The guild can usually arrange apprenticeships for those interested in the profession.
- The Harwin School for Young Gentlemen - Exclusively for male students, the school teaches everything a young gentlemen should know to be a well respected, upstanding member of the community.
- The Waverley Apartments - An exclusive apartment complex where the rich and noble tend to stay on short or elongated trips to Daltina. The suits in the apartments are generally rented out when not with family. More than one or two people visiting usually results in the rental of a townhouse.

The Royal Concourse
The Royal Concourse is a wide boulevard situated on the south fringe of the Grand District. The northern side is lined with shops, whilst the middle of the paved concourse often holds numerous tables and chairs and portable food and drink stands. On the southern side stands Daltinan amusements for the nobles, such as the menagerie. Although, strictly speaking the Concourse belongs to the Grand District and is considered the noble's playhouse, citizens from other portions of town can sometimes be seen frequenting it, as long as they have the money to spend.
- Auguries and Omens - The home of an Airerielite gypsy who specialises in fortune telling for the nobles of the city.
- Daltina Fine Jewellery - Daltina's premier jewellery store that has a reputation for fine quality workmanship. The prices aren't cheap, but you can be sure you are getting the best for your money.
- Diamond's Den of Dice - Located on the fringes of the Concourse, Diamond's Den of Dice is Daltina's dirty little secret, at least according to the women. To the men, the wine and wagers are rather appealing.
- Frizbee's Golems and Gadgets - One of the oldest shops in the concourse, and owned by a slightly crazed Dorin inventor, the gadget shop contains numerous things for the upper classes to spend their money on to keep themselves amused.
- House of Paramnesiacs - Located on the concourse, the House of Paramnesiacs is run by Mysticists who will perform a variety of entertainment services for the right price.
- Lords and Ladies House of Dress - Probably the most expensive tailor's in the whole of Daltina, if not the Empire. The House of Dress makes top quality clothing, but the material and workmanship comes at a price.
- Wimbley's Wild Menagerie - Wimbley's Wild Menagerie takes up most of the southern size of the royal concourse and boats a diverse amount of animals within its grounds. It is one of the few attractions that is visited by people from outside the grand district.

Tireless Sanctum
Located in the north-west of Daltina, the Tireless Sanctum is Daltina's answer to a military district. Named for the fact that the Royal family took refuge there in times of war, it is now home to the Maevewood Guards, the 16th Imperial Legion, and a host of shops and amenities as well. Remnants of Daltina's proud royal history can also be found lurking in the sanctum.
- Paravel Keep - Once part of a grand castle that was the refuge of the Daltinan royal family, Paravel Keep now stands alone, and is the home of the sixteenth imperial legion, the Maevewood Guards.
