The Snowden-Montague School for Accomplished Young Ladies
In the midst of the Grand District, made from several large, converted town houses stood two schools, side by side. One was entitled 'The Snowden-Montague School for Accomplished Young Ladies', and a big, fancily engraved plaque situated over the front door announced this to the general populace. The building from the outside was fairly unremarkable, though the garden borders between the houses had been removed, and a newer walls fenced the school from its surroundings, including that of the neighbouring school.
One of the more unusual things about the grounds was the unusually sized back gardens; usually the town houses had little of the sort, but this particular block had immensely long gardens that backed on to the road that cushioned the estates of Daltina. Since the garden had the width of several houses, it had been proclaimed perfect for the outdoor activities the young women were required to learn, and as such, a small stone stable had been built within the grounds. The schools were on a block of their own, meaning no other houses directly bordered them, and a good sized patch of green lawn ran around the sides of the buildings.
The wooden front door that was accessible at the top of a small flight of three marble steps was kept shut, but was easily opened accompanied by the tinkling of a small bell. Once inside a visitor was presented with a small, simply furnished but elegant lobby. The floor had been left bare but the wooden floorboards had been polished and stained. On the walls hung various drawings and paintings that had been done by the students of the school themselves. A small desk stood at the back of the room, with the secretary of the school seated behind it.
She was a prim looking young human woman, with her brown hair tied back into a plaited bun. Her clothes were cut severely, and of a dull grey colour that was not attractive and seemed to have been designed to make the wearer look as least appealing as she possibly could. She was busy writing away at some parchment, quill in hand, making sure that not a drop of ink was spilt anywhere but the paper it was meant to be put on. Whenever someone entered she would look up without so much as a smile.
"Serale. Welcome to The Snowden-Montague School for Accomplished Young Ladies. Are you here to enrol?"
On the wall behind was a nicely engraved plaque stating the details of the classes the school offered.

Miriam Snobworthy - Miriam is the human secretary of the school. She is in her early twenties with long honey-brown hair and hazel eyes. She usually wears her hair up in a bun, and wears boring, drab clothes that hide the curves of her figure. She is very prim and proper, is stern, lacks a sense of humour and takes no nonsense from men. In fact, she seems to loathe the opposite gender rather a lot. She grew up in Cheapside, but her parents came into money and sent her to the school, where after learning the basics she began to work.
