Frizbee's Golems and Gadgets

The workshop was unlike the others buildings of the Concourse. Small, made of plain grey stone and tucked between two bigger, grander stores it almost faded into the background entirely. Some people said, though, that the workshop had been there before the rest of the Concourse, and the other shops and attractions had sprung up around the little house of tinkerings that had been there as long as anyone could remember. Despite its forgettable appearance, the shop did great trade amongst the nobile class and those with the means to spend money on frivolous amusements.

Unlike its neighbours, no grand window displays were there to entice the customers, and the two glass eyes into the interior were small and boring, set into the grey stone walls without much consideration. The green paint on the wooden front door was slightly faded, though not chipped or damaged. Above the door, a sign of engraved wood proclaimed the name of the establishment, though many people knew what the building contained without glancing at it. The shop was possibly the most well known building on the concourse, despite its appearance.

Once the door was pushed, a small bell would tinkle to alert the owner to the presence of a customer. The room in which the newcomer would find themselves standing was not so much a shop floor but a disorganised mess. Work benches of various sorts lined the room, as well as shelves that held odd inventions, both completed and half-finished. Blocks of wood stood in every available corner, and other materials, bits of metal, glass, anything that looked as if it would come in handy, were scattered in the nooks. Another door led through to a back room, which presumably held more of the same.

The shop keeper, however, was one of the longest running myths of Daltina. Everyone knew of him, but not the mystery behind him. The proprietor of the workshop was a Dorin, known only by the name of Frizbee. His coat was grey and patchy, partially through age, and he sat on his stool in the workshop, rarely regarding new customers unless they said something. He looked wolfish, though old, but his eyes and teeth were still sharp. Constantly seeing to his inventions, night and day, he was considered by the populace a little senile and a little crazy, but much loved nonetheless.

But the mystery behind Frizbee ran deeper. For the gadget shop had always been run by him, as far back as any could remember, for hundreds of patterns, enough for many dorin lifetimes. Rumours flew about, all kinds of wonderful things had been deduced in the pursuit of just how he had managed to live so long, but likely, none were quite on the mark.

NPCs

Frizbee - The strange and somewhat mysterious Dorin owner of the gadget shop. He is reportedly hundreds of patterns old, and no one knows his true age. His fur is grey and patchy, though his yellow eyes are still sharp and his teeth still vicious. He is often distracted with his inventions, barely noticing new customers in his shop unless they speak. His life is his inventions, and he often loses all since of time, or day and night. In disposition his is quite amicable towards custom orders, because they give him a chance to work on new things, but he often comes across as being distracted and not quite in the world.
