[OOC] Unfortunate Retirement

Hello Dedicated Daltina Players,

It is with a heavy heart that I must inform you all that I am retiring from moderation. I had believed that when I returned from my college block I could resume my moderation duties as my scheduled returned to normal, however my schedule has only become more hectic due to the approach of the Christmas Season. It is not fair to you, the players, to be stuck with a Game Master who is not able to perform his duties and thus hinders your progression and the goings on of the city.

I would have liked to continue the plots, plans, and intricacies that I had hoped for Daltina however that does not seem possible at this juncture. It saddens me deeply to leave behind such dedicated and understanding players as have graced Daltina and I hope that I will be able to interact with you all in the future, either my email, or PM through my own PC, Raliric Ered`Gard.

It is my hope to return to moderation after this Christmas Season, though I obviously am unaware of where I might end up moderating.

Please do not hesitate to send a PM to Raliric should you require anything or need any questions answered, I will be more than willing to assist in anyway possible.

Once again, thank you all for your dedication and understanding. You are my perfect player base, though I have turned out to be a less than perfect moderator.

Well there goes the neighborhood. The PCs in Daltina are struggling right now, big time. I highly suggest the Council or a GM take the initiative to come to the Daltina community. Us PCs who are of noble status cannot do much without the interaction of mods. We are in major limbo right now and I know there is restlessness and I believe many, of the few that remain, are on the verge of retirement. I simply created a second PC after having failed so many times before because of what Daltina offered and have maintained this PC longer than all other secondary's I have had. Please, someone with vision and initiative take up the vacancy and come to Daltina's aid.

Sad to see you go and wish things could have worked out Az, good luck to you in the real world.

William the Game Directorate is currently working out the logistics, I have expressed much the same insights to them as you have specified here and they are taking that into consideration while they find a new moderator for Daltina. I would simply ask that the dedicated PCs who are in Daltina at the moment hang on and bare with the Game Masters and Directorate.
