Palais De Muse
Ah, the Palais De Muse, home to the Empire's greatest theatric performers. Poets from past and present praise and woo the splendid marvelment with their words and serenades, attesting to the wondrous thing that is the structure, made out of the finest rose marble known to men, soft red hues of wispy tendrils frozen within semi-translucent stone -- one could stare into its depth forever.
First Impressions
Manicured grass and lawns stretch out almost languidly before the aloof and stalwart structure. Numerous gazebos; six in total surround the perimeter of the vast compound.
Right before the grand porticulis entrance, a majestic fountain is set above glittering cobblestone, carved out of pure sea shells -- the unique texture giving the sculpture of the Water Bearers Oros a characteristic gloss of mauve, cyan, pink and luminous green, at the same time pertaining to the classical theme of fountains encompassing a low jet, a pair of raised basins, and sculpture with a water theme.
Oros, the water bearer is set amid of trove of rocks and basins that pours life out of her vase, representing unending cyclity.
Finally, atop the rosy color of the marbled roof, the six Aelyrian Muses are set -- golden, shimmering, splendid, frozen in eternal song and dance and doing what they do best -- inspire.
Into the Splendor
Within the walls of the Palais De Muse, the grandiose is truly felt and seen. No expenses were spared, and the opulence is certainly overwhelming. Seating only an exclusive five hundred on the ground floor, each chair and seat is lined with velvet and is lavishly comfortable, meticulously designed so that each offers a luxurious view of the performance.
The stage, a fifty feet wide, raised platform allows more than ample room to accommodate high end and large scale productions that the smaller theaters cannot afford.
Arching in a semi circle toward the stage, almost twenty feet above the ground floor, the mezzanine level spans outwards, an exclusive area known amongst the Nobile circles of Daltina as the
Royale; for it was once admissible only to the Royals of the now defunct Daltinian Kingdom.
Reconstruction works had began Post-Fractum, and only recently, unveiling the addition of the box seats on both sides of the stage, perched above the rest of the theater to shun the prying eye. Seating a comfortable of four per Box, these seats are highly sought after, and bidding usually have to be held to ballot these prized seats.
Entertainment food are served during various intermissions, fulling the audience with rare treats from across the Empire and the best wines specially from Enamoria's prized Vineyards to complete their Palais De Muse experience and bring the performance to a culmination.
