Matters of Import {Hector}
Fourth Cycle in Ponutis - Season of Spring
Some time had passed since Isadora had last seen Hector and while by and large she had forgotten him, it came to her one afternoon that he had meant to speak with her. Serious matters to discuss... he had told her and her curiosity had been peeked. That she had forgotten was not due at all to her lack of interest, just a fickle absent-mindedness that she caused her to sigh a little as the memory suddenly blinked into existence in her head.
"Stasie, would you mind if we detoured a little? I just recalled that I wish to drop by and see Hector de Rochedar." They had been on their way home from the girl's school, their stomachs growling for the attention of food, when Isadora broached the topic.
Her maidservant frowned and stared at her in some confusion. "Him? May I ask why?" She sounded slightly discontent, marginally displeased with the notion presented, but she didn't argue; where Isadora willed to go, Anastasie would allow it...provided it didn't infringe on her lady's honor in some form or another.
Isadora smiled faintly at the woman, hooking her elbow in hers and drawing her along the road to where she thought his residence might be. "Do you recall the brightening where we ran into Thalia Timandre for tea?" When Anastasie nodded, Isadora continued, "Then you must remember that Hector mentioned he had somewhat he wished to speak to me of. I mean to find out what."
Anastasie didn't look pleased about it, but she went along with her mistress, trailing along faithfully. They eventually found their way to the de Rochedar townhouse and knocked upon the door, waiting patiently for someone to answer.

It was Sebastien who answered the door, pulling it back quickly. The young chef and aide was dressed finely this morning all in purple, he had a little flour down his front evidence of some endevours from earlier. Upon seeing isadora he quickly moved outside and closed the door behind him before apologetically nodding his head.
"Begging you pardon my Lady but Lord de Rochedar is in a mood with you at present and it is best he not see you right this moment. His ulcer is troubling him and he is never in a good mood when that happens." The young aide shrugged lightly and bit his lip with his teeth. "You have to understand my Lady if you do not mind a humble servant adressing you is that he is a sensetive man. His father rather hoped for a second son like the first you see, his mother pampers him excessively and well he is a realist. And when you are his weight and have his attributes, a fnatasist is the thing to be you understand." He wiped his front trying to remove the flour, "Perhaps you had best see him yourself, but as I say best not trouble him too much, ulcers are nasty things, if he gets going too much it can lead to something rather bad." He nodded apologetically again as he opened the door and let the women in before moving into the Salon to the right and announcing their names.
The Salon was famed in the city but for now Hector sat alone in a leather armchair before a fire with a rug draped over his knees, gently he looked up before looking away, deciding no form of greeting was fitting for this particular guest.

Isadora inclined her cheek slightly as Sebastien tendered his apologies for Hector's mood. She couldn't blame him, not really, and might have turned about and left it at that had it not been for the words he'd uttered previously about matters he'd wished to discuss with her. That Sebastien saw fit to be plain-spoken with her did not bother her in the slightest for Anastasie often had a tongue on her. "Thank you, but I will, as you say, speak with him myself and assess the situation. I do believe that he had matters to discuss with me. I am sure he can bring himself to look past his pride." Of that she was not quite so confident, but she looked as if she believed it...that Hector would be able to ignore the slight she'd offered him not too long ago.
This belief dwindled significantly as she entered the salon and saw him seated there...content to say nothing at all to her. Not to be flustered or out-maneuvered, Isadora strode forward with her dignity setting her spine straight and giving her chin some lift. She did not stand close to him, but allowed for ample space...but she did position herself in such a way that ignoring her would be difficult. "My Lord de Rochedar, I've been told you've been feeling a bit under the weather. Forgive me if I am intruding, as I know how it is to have company when one is ill, but there were matters I would discuss with you, if you would allow yourself the time." She smiled pleasantly, completely ignoring the fact that he had no desire to speak with her whatsoever. "I do believe I owe you some tea and conversation, is that not so?"
Just beyond Isadora, Anastasie lingered in the background, near the door. She'd not leave her mistress even did the woman wish it--not when Dora was in the man's home. It wouldn't be proper.
ooc: sorry for the delay!
