Looking for some new friends...(OPEN!)

[Elros Ancalímon]

Timestamp: Evening, 1st Brightening of Kalendryas, Winter in Era I of the Celestine Mandate, Era XIII Post Fractum.

Elros was feeling particularly lonely this night. He had naught to do but sit at the Ol' Crown Inn & Tavern just so he could listen to the drunks and regulars go about their usual banter and brawls. He picked out the conversations that seemed to likely be the most entertaining and spent much of the time wondering just how sad it must seem that a Medonian Elf felt lonely enough to come to the Tavern to watch the drunkards at play.

Though he was having a hard time of his loneliness, he still wore a grin that could soften the mood of many maidens and squelch almost any fight that would be thrown his way. He observed more than one brawl, one actually coming near enough to him so he could smell the poor mead on one of the combatant's breath. Elros sighed loudly at the memory, but quickly shook it and brought his attention back up to the cacophony of hoots and hollars at hand. Now, was there someone of interest to speak to?...

[Selena Ile Andra]

Selena walked into the Crown Inn Tavern. Her long wavy chestnut brown hair fell over her one shoulder. She was medium height and slender, her golden skin almost glowed in the firelight. She had alluring jade eyes that seemed to almost glow.

Being new in Alleria Prime, she only knew one or two people. None of them were fellow elves. She was a shy young elf.

She ignored the catcalls and hollers as she looked for a place to sit. She had come to relax and possibly meet someone nice. She had no interest in drinking nor any of the drunkards at the tavern. She hated feeling so alone.

She smacked away a drunk's hand from her arm. She didn't wish to fight with anyone, but she wouldn't allow anyone to touch her.

[Elros Ancalímon]

Elros yawned deeply in his boredom, but when he opened his eyes he saw a new face. Not only was it rare to find a sober person in the tavern, but it wasn't every day he saw an elf maiden in this roudy place. He wiped his eyes quickly and took another look. Yep, it was definately an Elf and it was definately female.

He noticed the hoots and hollers as she walked through the crowd and he could tell it might end up being a problem. He got up from his chair and entered the crowd, walking towards the beautiful newcomer. Elros noticed her bat away a hand and he surged forward grasping the man's arm as the drunkard made a second attempt at the lady. He turned the man towards himself and fixed him with a hard glare.

"It is not polite to grab at a Lady. Did it ever occur to you to ask for her company like a gentleman? It is also not advisable to approach a lady with the stink of mead on your breath."

[Selena Ile Andra]

Selena was surprised when he came to her defense. She moved so that she was more behind the elf. The drunk looked at the elf and seemed to shrink away from his hard glare. His put his head down, seemingly losing interest in Selena.

Selena brushed a piece of stray hair from her face and smiled. "I thank you for your help sir. My name is Selena."

It was luck that she would find an elf in the Tavern, he didn't seem like the other patrons of the tavern, in other words a drunkard. Perhaps he would be good company, especially since he saved her the work of thrashing the drunk. She may not look it, but she was capable of handling her share of trouble, she just preferred not to.

"Do you know a place I can sit and not worry about drunk men grabbing at me?" She smiled warmly at Elros.

[Elros Ancalímon]

Elros offered his arm to the young Elven woman with kind features and a gentlemanly aura. He swept his other arm outward toward a well lit table in the back corner.

"Why, it was nothing, madame. My name is Elros Ancalímon and welcome to the 'ol Crown Inn & Tavern. This is definately not the most orderly of places, but it fills the gut of many men seeking to forget their day's labor. I do suggest we sit at that table over there, however. The light tends to hurt the eyes of the drunk and disorderly and as such is always the best place to be left alone."

Elros waited for her to offer her acceptance or denial of his proposition quietly and with a soothing smile directed towards her.

[Selena Ile Andra]

Selena smiled and took his arm, happy to have met someone kind. He was very charming. "I thank you for your generosity, I had hoped to find an Elf in the tavern." She looked back at the drunk who had grabbed her as if challenging him to do it again. He met her gaze, then looked down again.

"I just settled into Alleria Prime and I am very new. The tavern seemed to be a good place to meet some new friends, it seems that I was right. I may be naive, but I wasn't expecting it to be so....rough in here." She followed him to the table, glaring at another drunk who made a grab at her as she passed.

[Rúmil Ancalimë]

Rúmil fluttered in the door, looking around. He had been lonely since his new friend Kaetal had gotten called to the front in Narim. He often frequented the Tavern looking for some company, as fae are such sociable creatures. He needed a friend or two. Or five.

As he wandered into the tavern, he couldn't help but see it was even more rowdy than normal. Excellent. It was this kind of thrill he needed.

"This will do nicely," he thought to himself. "I only hope I can actually get something to drink in here."

He flew up toward the ceiling, and looked around the tavern.
