[Location] Zenthia's Apartments
With the rebuilding of the Crown, gone was the old, concealed and secret passageway and staircase that led to the apartments of the proprietress of old. Now, with the new layout and design, Zenthia's apartment now stood proudly on the first floor, down a small corridor that branched off the main one that contained the rooms of that level.
Despite the fact that the apartments were no longer hidden away in the old eccentricities of the old layout of the tavern, they were no less lavish. Once again the doors to her apartments themselves were made of mature wood, carved delicately with a scene of creeping ivy vines. It was not unusual to find a bodyguard, though dressed not in the cerulean blue of the guards below, lurking in the corridor to his mistresses chambers. No one got through unless they had explicit permission, were accompanied by a trusted staff member, or knew Zenthia inimately. Despite that fact, potential visitors were always searched for weapons. Over the years, the landlady of the Crown had made a lot of enemies.
The apartments themselves had been split into several rooms - the lady lived there after all - but the one that guests only ever saw was the study, the room directly hiding behind the double wood doors. The floor was covered with a deep piled crimson carpet, and all the furniture was matching, finished in a highly polished mahogany in an elaborate style. On the walls, various paintings hung that were no doubt rare, expensive and painted by the empire's best artists. Clearly, no expenses had been spared in this room.
But, if anything, the grandeur of the room was dampened by the figure of the woman sitting behind the large mahogany desk that graced the center of the room. Her figure was slim and graceful, decked in a lavish crimson gown that wouldn't look out of place on a princess or Queen. Around her thin neck hung several golden chains, each adorned with tasteful gems and baubles. Her raven black hair was tied up in an incredible swirling bun, entwined with a string of rubies that sparkled in the torch-light of the study. Eyes, dark as green jade in shadow, would look a newcomer over with an odd sense of examination. Needless to say, the figure at the desk was one Zenthia Tilosaro, owner of the Crown Inn and Tavern.

Celion
Accompanied by Alissa, Celion found himself led through the various corridors of the Crown Inn and Tavern. Eventually his journey ended at the huge double doors of the owner's apartments. One of the Crown's bodyguards stood outside, a plain looking man with his dark brown hair tied back into a tail. He eyed Celion in a less than trustful way, and even when he spotted Alissa, whom he knew, he barely changed his expression. He looked Celion over once or twice.
"If you're going to see the owner you need to leave any weapons you may have with me. Hand 'em over."
Once the issues of weapons had been dealt with, the guard opened the doors and Alissa led Celion inside, where Zenthia was sitting behind the desk in the centre of her study. She held a piece of paperwork in hand, but paused in her reading when her employeee entered, and looked up, waiting for an explanation. Alissa gave a small curstey, then explained the situation.
"Ma'am. I have brought you someone who is interested in working for the Crown, most likely as a temporary waiter."
Zenthia gave a nod, then shooed Alissa out with a flick of a hand. The receptionist left at once, eager to get back to her post before the patrons began to complain about the lack of service. She turned and walked out the room, sparing a nod for the guard on the door, who then closed them. That left just Celion and Zenthia alone in the room. The owner gave him a scrutinising look.
"So, according to Alissa you are looking for work. My name is Zenthia Tilosaro. Perhaps you could begin by introducing yourself, and telling me why exactly you think you are able to work her."
Zenthia's green eyes were piercing as they looked Celion over, as if she could know all his secrets merely by looking into his eyes. She did not offer the elven man a chair. Celion was required to stand there and talk to Zenthia until she either

Celion followed Allisa through a series of corridors which would seem like a maze. After a couple of moments of walking they stopped at a huge double door. There, a man was standing. Celion expected him to be a bodygaurd for the way the man stood and looked. He had an intersting looked in his face, it was as if he was ready to kill Celion.
Allisa told Celion that before they can entered the room he must leave all weapons that he has on him. That was easy for all he had was a dagger hidden in his shoe which was covered by his pants. As he lifted his leg to get his little dagger the noticed the change of expressions in the gaurd's eyes. Celion got his dagger and gave it to the gaurd.
"Okay, there you have it." Celion said.
As they entered the door he saw an undescribable woman. She was looking over some papers most likely about the business of the Crown. She looked at Allisa and Allisa gave her reason for intruding. After, Allisa left to leave Celion with the owner.
The owner introduced herself as Zenthia. Then she asked Celion to introduce
himself and why does he deserve a job at the Crown.
"Well," Celion started, " I am Celion and that is all I can tell you not because I choose not to but because I can't. And about why I should work here is..." Celion scratch his chin as to give the suggestion of him thinking, " Well, there aren't really any reasons but I know that I can perform this job at an exceptional level. I don't think that I have any experience in being a waiter and all I can promise you is my best even if it might not be enough." Celion felt like an idiot when he said those last words. Why did he give the suggestion that his best would not be good enough. Now all he could was wait and see if he gets the job or not...

Zenthia raised one perfectly arched eyebrow at Celion's cryptic allusion to a possible state of amnesia, but she said nothing, and left the man to continue answering her previous questions before interupting or carrying on the interview. Her pale, slender fingers began to play with a string of rubies that had been clasped around her throat as Celion spoke.
"Well, of course I won't have anything against you for not having any experience in the field of this sort, since many of our staff here often do not have previous knowledge of waiting on people before they start working here. I must say though, I am intrigued... about why you cannot tell me more about yourself?"
Zenthia paused for a moment, allowing Celion to either elaborate or not, as he chose, before progressing with the interview. It was true that the owner was rather fussy about her staff mainly to keep the reputation of the tavern in check, but Celion clearly did not look like a Vysstichi or any of the other despised races that caused unrest, and he was dressed smartly enough. The crown had no uniform, the staff were just required to wear smart clothes, and one of the tavern's aprons over the top.
"You say you will give your best. That is all I ask from my staff. But lets talk technicalities. Firstly, would you be requiring work on a permenant or temporary basis? Are you in need of lodging within the walls? And lastly, can I count on your undivided loyalty to the Crown for the time period in which you would be working for me?"

Celion smiled as Zenthia asked him why he could not speak more about himself. It had only been the brightening before that he woke up from somekind of special dream and found himself at the gates of Alleria Prime. How could he explain it.
"Well," Celion said, "Let's just say that I was attacked by a group of rogues and recieved major problems in my head."
As he said those words he waited for the reply of the young madame. Zenthia then replied with more quetions to answer. Permenant or temporary basis, lodging, and loyalty.
"Well I will be staying in Prime for only about an era. So within the duration of that time I will work for you, that is if you let me. And on the matter of lodging, well as I said I will only be staying in Prime for only an era so for maybe a month I will need lodging here in the Crown and maybe by then I should have another place to stay, but if not I may stay for another month. And and am not a backstabber. I will not let you down if I have your trust, even if you would not hire me. You have my loyalty.

Upon Celion's short statement about being set up by a group of rogues on the road, Zenthia looked thoughtful. She decided that regardless of Celion's head problems, he had presented himself to be a reliable sort of fellow during the interview and that it would not stand in the way of him persuing a career at the Crown. She nodded her head briefly, for she did not want her hair to become out of place.
"Well, Celion, I have to say you seem like the type of person I am willing to have working here. And accomodation will not be a problem. I can give you a room for a month or however long you need to get settled. Now, wages with room and board will be 20 crowns a cycle. Once you move out, your wages will increase to 30 crowns a cycle."
Zenthia began to rummage around in a drawer whilst still managing to maintain a dignified position. Eventually she drew out a key with a room number attached to it. Clearly Zenthia kept all the rooms put aside for staff use under her strict gaze. She pushed the key across the desk towards Celion.
"This is a key to room 305, which is in the attic of the tavern, where all the staff rooms are, but I can assure you they are kept nicely cleaned and furnished. I will give you today to move your things in and get familiar with the place. You will start working tomorrow. Your duties will be to take orders from customers and give them the correct goods. Fairly easily, however if you do get into difficulties I recommend you talk to Anaiya Moshova, who is one of our most senior waitresses. You'll recognise her because, in spite of that, she is also the youngest. Any more questions?"
Clearly now that Celion had been hired and given his duties, Zenthia was satisfied with the situation, and eager to get back to whatever she had been doing before she had been interupted by her newest member of staff and the desk clerk who resided in the lobby.

Celion nodded and gave a slight smile as Zenthia said that he would be accepted. She then said that he would get 20 crowns per cycle and then Celion just couldn't hide his smile. After a brief moment Zenthia asked if there were any questions and this time Celin shooked his head.
"No I do not have any questions.I, for now, have no valuables so it should not take so much time for me to get set and comfortable with the area. Thank you for this opportunity. I shall now take my leave. Thank you."
And with that Celion went out of the double door, retrieved his weapons fromthe gaurd and went on his way.
