Ashandra Gha'Nalis is half elven, the product of a Esh'lahier father and a Rhaghrnd human mother. Her hair is long and white, and she is almost unnaturally pale from long years of living among her mother's tribe in the mountains. Ashandra is thin, almost frail; physical strength is clearly not where she has been gifted.
Ashandra does not remember her mother, nor her father, and with good reason; her mother was the captive of one Kerdinus Gha'Nalis, and was impregnated during her incarceration as his slave. She was able to escape to bring young Ashandra to her people, but left soon after with the realization that Kedrinus would surely follow after her. Here whereabouts - and her final fate - remain a mystery to this day.
Ashandra is usually found wearing a simple white dress, a brown over-dress open at the front, sometimes accompanied by a brightly colored scarf, particularly with the colder weather of Jaedaxian winters.
Ashandra is a follower of Borthanis, albeit a new one, and her land outside Jaedaxia plays host to what she hopes shall one day become a Holy CIty to the Holy Order of Borthanis. She is quite open when asked about her faith, but is not one to go about preaching to strangers. She leaves such things to the priests of the religion - and to the Prophet Ishbantor.

Through the use of Abjuration, an Elementalist is able to shape the Essence of Earth upon an area of ground. From that position, the Mage can thereby summon long pikes of stone to rise from the ground quickly. This can be used to create obstacles or even be used as a trap to impale an unsuspecting person.

An Elementalist is able to coat their hand in an Element through the use of Alteration. Alternatively, a field of Elemental energy may be created through Evocation to ensure that the casting Mage will not accidentally injure themselves depending upon the Element used.

By using Alteration, an Elementalist is able to construct a small orb of Elemental energy. Most commonly this manifests as stone, fire, electricity or a shard of ice.

Through the use of Evocation, an Elementalist can strike an opponent with a surge of Elemental energy. When the Essence of Earth is used, this most commonly causes a stunning effect.

Glowing Sphere
A small orb of fire or reflective ice is the most common means of casting a Glowing Orb, although small amounts of electricity may be used for a lighting effect.. The creation of this spell involves Alteration and can be considerably complex when using ice due to the difficulties in ensuring that the light is reflected properly.

Through the use of Evocation, an Elementalist is able to fashion a field of Essence of Fire from within the Mage’s own body for a short duration. This deals light damage to anything that touches the field.

Drain Life
One of the primary attack mechanisms of the Necromancer also happens to be base of all his self-healing techniques. Unlike Thaumaturgy, Necromancers have no direct control over life. They have found a way around that though, using others as energy sources to replenish their own losses. Using Abjuration the mage can tap into the life force of an enemy can in effect rip out a single chunk of life from it and add it to his own. Even though not as effective as direct healing, the extra life energy will be used by his body heal itself.
