When I first set eyes upon my third son I realized that his manner was much like his uncles. Indeed the fiercness of his red eyes were a wonder to behold, and most likely a gift of his mother.


I dare not say he was unusual, he held the typical white hair. As he grew his build neither drew the muscle to command the lessers but he held strength enough.

He always took time in choosing his attire I will give him that, though never anything useful in a fight. Draping himself in dark dreadful colors rather then a good suit of armor always struck me as foolish but my lashes never seemed to leave him with mind to heed me.


I ponder now looking back if any will notice the common viper amongst them, so familiar, so common placed. The height familiar, the hair familiar, but yet there is something in his walk. Like a predator, he is waiting, and I dare say, I may very well be his first victim. At least then he would show he has some stomach.....

"Ceva's father? A worthless male, a useless male like the rest of them. Good for little else then providing sons and the occassional amusement.

He did however raise our sons in a unusual and delightfully cruel manor. So many other families broke there sons and built them up, a simple but effective method for a endless array of mindless warriors. Yet Ceva's Father broke them and then left them broken, trying to find there own way out.

At first I thought this foolish, like most males with stupid ideas, but when Ceva's brother disappeared and the boy held unusual glimmer in his eyes, I realized perhaps this was the start of something.

My son does seem overly occupied with fear, I mean what can you do with that. He dosn't use a blade, and he has no interest in raising the dead. At least there are other sons, but then again perhaps his studies will one day prove useful and he will stop lurking in dark corners all the time with that damn look in his eye. As if he's just waiting to break you and pick up the pieces."

A family of questions and fear
A family who so often held nothing dear.

They once held alot of crowns a few generations ago,
of late they have known only woe.

The great grandparents back the wrong buyer
They fell out of favor and were soon called a liar.

The grandparents grew small and the line grew thin
They'd need more sons and daughters if they were to win.

Gil'inidia the mother knew just when.
Long thighs, nice hair, and had a way with the men.

To her luck she had many daughters, they scattered about.
She had a son or two, and cast them aside without.

Ceva is the last son to be left alive.
The daughters have made it, all of the five.

No nobility or alliances of matrons.
Very few have found a new rising patron.

Now they seek to gather the wealth a new.
If they are lucky only a few will be left, at the end of the family coup.

What do you consider the most important event of your life so far?

Discovering that fear need not be only a weapon, but a resource. A very beneficial discovery.


30. Who has had the most influence on you?

Well not to discard mother for her lack of witty comments or snark remarks but father was always quicker with the lashings. Yet probably my eldest brother, he was so influential, so influential in fact that it seems he had to be removed.

There was the sea elf of course but I dare not pen her name to parchment for fear of blackmail.


31. What do you consider your greatest achievement?

So far? Well what can one achieve in a handful of sands of time. I suppose if one must choose it would be one of the delightful accidents I caused to occur or my studies. Both of which are increasing.

32. What is your greatest regret?

That someone came up with some many dreadful questions.

33. What is the most evil thing you have ever done?

Evil is merily a view point. I care little for such a view point and assume the list would be so long it would warrant a entirely seperate book. There was that girl I caused to go insane...oh now what was her name.

34. Do you have a criminal record of any kind?

Our local law enforcement does not seem it worthy to note of such.

Though I do have a bit of a negative view with a certain family of sea elves.

35. When was the time you were the most frightened?

Probably childhood, mastering fear took some time.

36. What is the most embarrassing thing ever to happen to you?

There was that time I made awkward advances towards that female at the Raven club. In perspective I was fairly novice at the game.

Also that time I left home for my...dalliances....that was foolish.

37. If you could change one thing from your past, what would it be, and why?

Another family may have been nice. How's that saying go, you can choose your enemies but not your family, something like that.

38. What is your best memory?

Easily the time I swindled that merchant out of the book on fear in society for a single crown, that was a good day.

39. What is your worst memory?

Having spent time to write this pointless characture of myself.
