1. Robbery
Robbery is the crime of seizing property through violence or intimidation. More precisely, at common law, robbery was defined as taking the property of another, with the intent to permanently deprive the person of that property, by means of force or fear. Robbery is also when there is forced intimidation placed upon the victim/victims.
A. Any person found guilty of robbery or an attempt of robbery shall be punished, if the offense is committed in time of war, by death or such other punishment as trial deems correct. In non war time a member of the Veldar Elite is punished forfeiture 1 month pay, and confinement to jail for 1 month.
2. Deserition
A) Any member of the armed forces who—
(1) Desertion is when a member of the Veldar Elite who without authority goes or remains absent from his unit, organization, or place of duty with intent to remain away there from permanently;
(2) quits his unit, organization, or place of duty with intent to avoid hazardous duty or to shirk important service; or
(3) without being regularly separated from the Veldar Elite, enlists or accepts an appointment in the same or another on of the local or foreign armies without fully disclosing the fact that he has not been regularly separated, or enters any foreign armed service except when authorized by the approving General of the Veldar Elite; is guilty of desertion.
(B) Any person found guilty of desertion or attempt to desert shall be punished, if the offense is committed in time of war, by death or such other punishment as a court-martial may direct, but if the desertion or attempt to desert occurs at any other time, by such punishment, other than death, as a court-martial may direct.
3. ASSAULTING OR WILLFULLY DISOBEYING SUPERIOR COMMISSIONED OFFICER
(1) strikes his superior commissioned officer or draws or lifts up any weapon or offers any violence against him while he is in the execution of his officer; or
(2) willfully disobeys a lawful command of his superior commissioned officer;
shall be punished, if the offense is committed in time of war, by death or such other punishment as a court-martial may direct, and if the offense is committed at any other time, by such punishment, other than death, as a court-martial may direct.
4. MURDER
Any person subject to this chapter whom without justification or excuse, unlawfully kills a human being, when he- -
(1) has a premeditated design to kill;
(2) intends to kill or inflict great bodily harm;
(3) is engaged in an act which is inherently dangerous to others and evinces a wanton disregard of human life; or
(4) is engaged in the perpetration or attempted perpetration of burglary, sodomy, rape, robbery, or aggravated arson;
is guilty of murder, and shall suffer such punishment as a court-martial may direct, except that if found guilty under clause (1) or (4), he shall suffer death or imprisonment for life as a court-martial may direct.
5. GENERAL ARTICLE
Though not specifically mentioned in this Code, all disorders and neglects to the prejudice of good order and discipline in the Veldar Elite, all conduct of a nature to bring discredit upon the Veldar Elite, and crimes and offenses not capital, of which persons subject to this chapter may be guilty, shall be taken cognizance of by a general, special or summary court-martial, according to the nature and degree of the offense, and shall be punished at the discretion of the Veldar Elite General.

Description: Private is a growing troop in need of training and experience. The rank of Private is awarded to anyone who enlists into the Veldar Elite
Pay: 45 crowns per cycle
Requirements for next rank: To attain Private Second Class a Private must attain all basic weapon and or job knowledge for his chose job. (Weapon or job skill level 1)
Rank: Private Second Class (PV2)
Training: Level 2 weapon or job skill
Description: The Private Second Class is a shinning example of perfected training and competent job knowledge. PV2 is to be known as the "go to man", knowing all of the basic levels of his job and completing them competently on a daily basis.
Pay: 70 crowns per cycle
Requirements for next rank: Obtain the 2nd level of weapons training or job equivalence as well as completed the basic leadership course.
Rank: Sergeant (Sgt)
Training: Level 2 weapon or job skill, Basic Leadership Course
Description: A Sgt. is a first line supervisor. The smallest issues that arise within the ranks are handled by the Sgt. On top of being full competent in his job, a Sgt must also fully understand and follow the Vales of the Elite. The Sgt is the brains behind most of the daily operations in both war time & peaceful situations
Pay: 120 crowns per cycle
Requirements for next rank: Complete his 3rd level of training in weapon or job related skill, completed the basic leadership course, complete the military tactics in wartime class.
Rank: Master sergeants (MSgt)
Training: Level 3 weapon or job skill, Basic leadership Course, military tactics in wartime class
Description: The rank of MSgt is the core leader of the enlisted ranks. More of a manager of people a MSgt must be fully understanding and stern at the same time. Usually a MSgt has seen his fair share of battle and is in a position now to teach and share his vast knowledge with the younger ranks.A MSgt leads his section and is the highest enlisted rank in the Veldar Elite, he is given a pay raise per era or if chose can cross over and become a commissioned officer with no further training.
Pay: 250 crowns per cycle (+75 crowns per cycle after each era after obtaining the rank of MSgt)
Officer
Rank: Lieutenant (Lt)
Training: Level 2 weapon or job skill, Basic & Advanced Leadership Course
Description: The rank of Lieutenant is the first commissioned officer rank. A Lt. should be a well rounded individual and of good standing in the community. (No infractions of the law) A Lt. is in charge of an entire Platoon, with the assistance of the MSgt's under him. A Lt. should always conduct himself property in front of his subordinates and always be seeking to further his knowledge on wartime situations/leadership.
Pay: 175 crowns per cycle.
Requirements for next rank: Level 2 weapon or job skill, Basic & Advanced Leadership Course, military tactics in wartime class.
Rank: Captain (Cpt)
Training:Level 2 weapon or job skill, Basic & Advanced Leadership Course, military tactics in wartime class.
Description: The rank of captain is the second commissioned officer rank. A Captain will be a stand-alone leader of men, fully competent in leading all troops into battle and performing daily peacetime operations.
Pay: 350 crowns per cycle. (+100 crowns a cycle after first era of rank)
Requirements for next rank: Level 3 weapon or job skill, Basic & Advanced Leadership Course, military tactics in wartime class.
Rank: Colonel (Col)
Training:Level 3 weapon or job skill, Basic & Advanced Leadership Course, military tactics in wartime class.
Description: The rank of Colonel is the third commissioned officer rank. A Col. will be a leader of an entire Army, able to lead and give discipline to all below. A Col. is the second highest rank in the Veldar Elite, and must maintain the highest level of discipline for himself and his subordinates. The core heart of the army lies on the shoulders of it's Colonels. Regulations, laws, training and policy changes are all done by the Col. A Col.'s day to day operation should consist of ensuring standards are met, establishing new regulations/laws for the Veldar Elite, and should always be at a constant state of awareness and battle ready.
Pay: 900 crowns per cycle.(+100 crowns a cycle after first era of rank)
Requirements for next rank: Level 3 weapon or job skill, Basic & Advanced Leadership Course, military tactics in wartime class, Basic Writing Etiquette, Basic History, Basic Politics, Thane approval.
Rank: General (GEN)
Training:Level 3 weapon or job skill, Basic & Advanced Leadership Course, military tactics in wartime class, Basic Writing Etiquette, Basic History, Basic Politics.
Description: General is the highest attainable rank in the Veldar Elite. Usually there is only one or two Generals at a time in the Veldar Elite. A Generals day to day operation consists of mainly political meetings with the Thane and officials throughout Zerdargia, as well as surrounding armies and cities. The General is the final decision on war operations, and is responsible for the protection of the city and all of its' inhabitance. Major decisions involving promotion, infractions of the military code of conduct, and demotion lay in the hands of the General.
Pay: 2000 crowns per cycle. (+200 crowns a cycle after first era of rank)

Calvary- The Veldar Elite Calvary is the second largest Battalion out of the four. The calvary consists of Mounted Swordsman, Mounted Archers, Calvary Assistants, and Calvary Scouts.
Mounted Swordsman: A Mounted Swordsman within the Calvary Battalion is a highly trained swordsman with proficient training in mounted combat.
Acceptable training within career field for promotion: Mounted Combat, Sword Combat, Scout Training, Horse Riding Training.
Mounted Archers: A Mounted Archer within the Calvary Battalion is a highly trained archer with proficient training in mounted combat.
Acceptable training within career field for promotion: Mounted Combat, Scout Training, Bow Training, Crossbow Training, Horse Riding Training, Fletching.
Calvary Assistant: A Calvary Assistant within the Calvary Battalion is a highly trained in maintaining and repairing Calvary equipment and weapons, ensuring adequate care for Calvary horses.
Acceptable training within career field for promotion: Fletching, Smithing, Bow-making, Saddle Making, Animal Husbandry and or Veterinary specialty training.
Calvary Scout: A Calvary Scout within the Calvary Battalion is a highly trained scout with proficient training in stealth and observation techniques.
Acceptable training within career field for promotion: Mounted Combat, Scout Training, Horse Riding Training, Stealth Training, Survival Training.

Aerial Defense: The Aerial Defense is the third largest Battalion out of the four. The AD Battalion consists of two careers; Long Bow and Short-bow.
Long Bow Specialist: A Long Bow Specialist within the Aerial Defense Battalion is a highly trained archer trained in both long distance offensive techniques as well as long distance defensive techniques. Mainly used for structural defense.
Acceptable training within career field for promotion: Long Bow, Fletching, War Bow.
Short-bow Specialist: A Short-bow Specialist within the Aerial Defense Battalion is a highly trained archer trained in both short distance offensive techniques as well as short distance defensive techniques. Mainly used for short range combat.
Acceptable training within career field for promotion:Short-bow, Fletching.

Infantry: The Infantry Battalion of the Veldar Elite is the largest of the four Battalions. Used for day to day operations ranging from city security to contingency response operations the Veldar Elite Infantry is the sharpest Battalion of its type in the empire. There are many careers within the Infantry Battalion, Ranging from your basic Swordsman to the most advanced Contingency Response Group. Weapons consist of swords, axes, daggers and knives, blunt weapons, spears and other polearms.
Base Defense: The Base defense company is split into two Platoons. Wall Defense Platoon consists of all integral wall security and defense. The second Platoon is the Gate Defense Platoon which consists of armored infantry units to protect and guard the various gates into and within the city of Zerdargia.
Acceptable training within career field for promotion: Sword, Axe, Dagger/Knife, Blunt, Spears and polearms as well as unarmed combat.
City Security: The City Security Platoon has two Platoons. The Patrol Platoon carries out day to day security for the city of Zerdargia. The CSP is basically the internal police force. The Correctional Facility Platoon consists of those that run the city Jail as well as correctional actions for both civilians and those of the Veldar Elite.
Acceptable training within career field for promotion: Sword, Axe, Dagger/Knife, Blunt, Spears and polearms as well as unarmed combat.
Contingency Response Company: The CRC is a deployable Company used for quick response action throughout the city, province, or Empire. The CRC consists of highly specialized soldiers able to sustain and fight without the need of assistance. It is common to see Civil Engineering as well as Aerial Defense troops to be associated with this Company.
Acceptable training within career field for promotion: Infantry, Aerial Defense, Civil Engineering or Calvary training is accepted for promotion

Civil Engineering: The Civil Engineering Battalion is both the brains and brawn behind the fighting force. The CEB consists of 2 Companies. The War Machine Company creates and maintains all types of war machines, ranging from a simple battering ram to a complex combat mining operation. The Structural Engineering Company takes care of the day to day maintenance and construction of the military buildings in Zerdargia. The SEC ranges from building new barracks to repair to the city after a battle.
