(Copyright by Ashwings) General Information Name: Saha (which means ‘demon’ in Kemish tongue) Race: Kemite human (*) Home: Zinn’Sunn Age: 13 Ordinations Appearance: Saha’s light green eyes catch attention of every stranger at first sight. The Kemite culture however tells that such eyes have bad luck on them, as it is with the pointed eye-teeth. Her hair is pitch-black, straight and long, and her figure is slender and fragile, but still child-like, and she still has something of a ‘moonface’, already with a hint of high cheekbones. Saha believes that soon she will be a flower of extraordinary beauty and elegance. Also she believes that she will grow within coming ordinations, for now she is only 4’’9 tall. Adjurators or other esoteric people are certainly able to see her extraordinary soul (or shadow, her true nature). She seems to be half human and half fox since she has three invisible fox-tails. Kemites would believe she is possessed by a Kitsune, a powerful magical fox deity of Kemish mythology. Unusual eye-colour and pointed teeth are other symbols. Personality: Because nobody really cared for her by now, she is rather wild and untrained, sometimes even rude. Saha knows her goals and that she has to work to accomplish them. Nothing really stops her if something comes up to her mind. She spent a big part of her childhood strolling around in the streets of Phoenix district and saw many examples of the cruelty of life itself. Also she grew up with a lack of emotions and especially love. For that reason she sometimes behaves sarcastic, even cynical. Saha thinks she has more knowledge and experience than other people at her age – but her mind is still a child’s one and there are many things to learn. The other side of her personality is her official face that she turned on whenever she was around the clan complex. These days she discovered that it also could be quiet helpful at the Okiya, while learning something new and approving her abilities. Then she is quiet, polite and keeps attention very carefully not to forget anything she is taught. Saha looks like a deep, dark lake when she is behaving like that and noblewoman personality seems to take over her mind. (*) Although Saha doesn't know it yet, one of her ancestors was a Kitsune, a Kemish fox deity, and some of the abilities and talents of this woman are hers now.

History Birth to 13 ordinations: Originally, Saha was named Minali (which means ‘bad luck’), because of her unusual light green eyes. Her mother, Yui Arashi, thought of Minali being ill-fated or something even worse and didn’t want to keep her. But her father ordered her to care for the baby – maybe because Minali was his first daughter – and so she did. Minali’s father is Sato, son of Ren, who currently is lord of the Arashi family belonging to Phoenix Clan. Although he always thinks and speaks of her with love, he never really cared about what she did in her free time. Her mother isn’t very fond of her either, she still doesn’t want to have anything to do with Minali. She avoids her as much as possible, but when they meet they are more or less kind and polite to each other. Yui taught her daughter how to play the violin for one era, which Minali both enjoyed and hated at the same time. But she had always good relationships to most of her brothers, especially three ordinations elder Aoi, whose dream is it to become SwordSinger. They share an occupation for music and are still best friends. Despite the bad circumstances of her infancy Minali soon got a qualified teacher: Yuiya Irazo, wife of the third clan lord of Phoenix Clan. Yuiya was a former Keme’Dral and so Minali got introduced to business very early. Although Yuiya knew what plans Minali’s father held for her, she also taught the child, except of basic schola and some grammaticus, the psychical abilities of patience and kindness. She told her to look down on other people for becoming polite and to get through changing life circumstances. Minali’s lessons were different from usual education in many ways. Lady Yuiya was also her friend, and they enjoyed themselves while learning important psychical skills that Minali would need for the way she would choose ordinations later. But eventually Lord Sato found out and it was impossible for Yuiya to stay with Minali. They parted for a long time, but Yuiya did a great gift to the young girl. Until her 13th birthbrightening Minali knows that she has to stand up for herself. She wants to go her own way and seeks for freedom and independence. Now she knows which way her life should go and she asks her dearest brother Aoi to talk to their father for her joining Golden Petal Okiya.
