Her real name is Hay'aan Carthiam (Carthium meaning entrust). She belongs to the Kemenlo familiya, from a Kumpania which travelled Arakmat. The Baro of her Kumpania, her mother, has given her blessing for Hay'aan to travel as her daughter seeks her inner path. In her Vardo there lived Hay'aan, her mother, her father and her twin sister. Her twin (Lanita) and she are identical, although Hay'aan is younger by some few minutes. Hay'aan left home to travel, to discover her true self and to learn her mothers' craft. She wishes, more than anything to be a jewelcrafter and she left the Kumpania in good favour. She fully plans on returning there one brightening, although as she stays longer in Demios, she is learning more and more why it is that she wanted to go. The people that she has met and the excitement that her new life is giving her makes it less likely that she will return home.. Hay'aan's Story Hay'aan comes from a family of gypsies who base themselves loosely in the deserts of Arakmat. She has no major drama in her background, no tragedy or loss. Rather she had a happy and well-adjusted childhood which she remembers with fondness. Hay'aan's mother was a jeweler, as was her mother before her. It was expected that Hay'aan would go into the family tradition, which she plans to, having a love of creating things which has been there since she was born. In contrast to her family, Hay'aan is a quiet and bookish young woman who has a desire to absorb knowledge. She fully intends to return to her family one day, but she knows that there is so much to learn outside of the desert and she wanted to experience it first hand. So, on the first brightening of Winter, Era XV, Hay'aan entered Demios, where she intended to learn the art of Jewel crafting. She was lucky indeed, for she quickly met up with Viskyia Crow who offered her somewhere to live and an apprenticeship at the Fire Isle Jewelry Shoppe. She also got a place to live with Viskyia at Stormwatch Manor, where she met up with Jasmyn, M'cai and Adelyn. Hay'aan very quickly grew to feel like these women were her friends and more, almost like sisters. She also met Klue Malinconico on the beach on that first brightening and a few brightenings later she met Garit Sevenstars. She was amazed by the ocean and she spent a lot of her time on the beach, falling in love with the sounds and sights of the waves. During this season she undertook lessons in Basic Law as well as learning Jewel Crafting. In this season, Hay'aan discovered her place in the Aesitiva Reverie and was delighted to find out that her place was, in fact, as the Seer of the Reverie. That would mean that she had to learn as much as was possible from this point onwards, a task which she eagerly undertook. She set about making notes on everything that she could, and decided that she was going to be the best Seer that she could. In her dreams she learnt such a lot, and she grew in her worship of Kaimelea, a Planetar that she had not known the name of before this season, and yet who was a continuous force in her life. In a very real sense, in this season, she came home. She also grew a deep fondness for Klue, and developed something of a crush on him. They spent time together in a number of places, culminating in them going together into a submersible which he had built and him showing her coral reefs. The next season, the Spring of Era XV was a very eventful one for the young Air'riela. She went to see Klue on the first of the first month and she and he decided to give in to the growing feelings that they both had for each other and they began a relationship. This was on the same brightening as the Crystal Gardens opened its doors, so Hay'aan had a very good brightening indeed! Throughout the season she also continued her training in Art and her and Klue got into a number of adventures!

Hay'aan has, in a short space of time, met a number of people. From the time that she arrived in Demios, she has met and made friends with more people than she thought it possible to. PEOPLE HAY'AAN HAS MET / BECOME FRIENDS WITH Viskyia Crow has been an amazing influence on Hay'aan's life since she entered Demios. The half-esh gave Hay'aan a job and has offered to teach her jewel craft. Hay'aan is now living in Demios with Viskyia, in Stormwatch Manor. Hay'aan took an immediate liking to Viskyia and is delighted to be able to learn from her. Met Winter Era XV Jasmyn Jewel is also living with Viskyia, and she and Hay'aan share a room. Hay'aan sees Jasmyn as like some kind of immensely graceful bird ~ multi-coloured and able to float, rather than walk. She is a beautiful woman, but she does not have the airs and graces that one might expect. She is an accomplished masseuse and Hay'aan and she are getting to know each other well. Met Winter Era XV M'caiyha Vosmaeri is another woman living with Viskyia. Hay'aan has grown very fond of M'cai who always has quiet words of wisdom and a ready smile. She also has a whole host of birds, which Hay'aan loves, adoring animals and children in almost equal measure. Met Winter Era XV Adelyn Weiss also lives at Stormwatch. In a very short space of time, Hay'aan has come to realise Adelyn's strength of character. She deeply admires Adelyn and is amazed at how fond she has become of these women in such short time frames. Met Winter Era XV Klue Malinconico The man that Hay'aan met on the beach, when he almost took her head off with a whirligig. She and Klue immediately got on well, and she has developed a quick but genuine fondness for the young man who has a very ready smile and is, she suspects, much more than he appears. In the Spring Era XV Hay'aan and Klue started a relationship. . Met Winter Era XV Garit Sevenstars Another man she met on the beach, this time whilst drawing. The silver haired elf and she chatted whilst she did a quick portrait of him. She found him to be a friendly and personable fellow, and she was pleased to find out that he was applying to work for Viskyia. Met Winter Era XV Michael Poe Not sure that she'd call him friend yet, but this is the "head of security" at the Botanical Resort and is someone that Viskyia has obviously developed a trust in. Hay'aan doesn't know the man particularly, but is well aware of his charming nature. Met Winter Era XV Tristan L'Evienne The Thane of Demios. Hay'aan met him at the Masquerade Ball that he held this season. She didn't particularly get to speak to him overly, although he seemed like a friendly man. Met Winter Era XV "Tristan" Stephan Woloufen Hay'aan met this man on the beach when she was practicing her watercolour. She and he discussed the merits or even possibility of someone owning some of the ocean and they discussed their philosophies and personal histories over a glass of wine.
