Pre-Roleplay History: Twenty-seven patterns ago in the city of Tarisfal, a child was born to Paul and Elizabeth Woulofen. Although this should of been a happy time for the family this was Elizabeth's worse fear. The mid-wife in a small room in the Woulofen House, with the help of an aid, helped Elizabeth in the birth of her son Stephan Woulofen. They witnessed the beautiful birth of the child and were shocked to see the elven ears of the child. As they handed the child to his mother, a tired and happy mother was changed to a shocked and fearful mother of what he really was, the child of another, not her husbands. Forcing the mid-wife and aid to keep their mouths shut or lose their lives, Elizabeth had them lock her in the room, and only allowed them entry. They both had told Paul a lie, that his wife had successfully given birth to his son, but she was very tired and sick. The lie had surprisingly worked and after a few weeks of crying, fearfulness, but also signs of love, the elven ears that Stephan once had finally almost completely disappeared. Finally, able to see his son Paul entered and went directly to his wife's side, giving a kiss upon her forehead and expressing his love over and over. Elizabeth cried and handed him "their" son, Paul had never been so happy in his life. Elizabeth loved Paul and her son more than anything else in the world and thus hid the secret even after her death. Stephan was raised in a normal loving household, his father was a wealthy merchant and his mother took care of him and his brother quite well. He attended school and received a great education, while also learning from his father how to use a sword when he was old enough to hold it. His brother, Felix Woulofen was five patterns younger than him, and looked up to his bigger brother very much. One day when he was fourteen, after school was over Stephan went to meet his brother at his school, which he did everyday. He was there early that day and waited and waited, until finally the children began to leave. Finally, he saw his brother through the children when suddenely two men grabbed him and began to head for a nearby carriage. Stephan ran as fast as he could to stop them by himself, but as he was about to grab the one man from the carriage the man kicked him hard in the chest. He ended up on the ground in a great amount of pain, he tried to get up and run after them, but he couldn't and he couldn't call for help either at this point. For three patterns his brother was gone, and Stephan watched as his father kept contact with the kidnappers through letters. They asked for a large amount of payment, all that Paul had, and finally after a pattern he paid it, loving his son more than his fortune. Finally, after one pattern away Felix appeared at the door of their house, scared of everything. The family was happy again, and Stephan, now fifteen, was happy his brother was home but he was full of anger and rage at the same time at himself and whoever took his brother. The family was back together once again, and it was at this time that Elizabeth became pregnant once again. However, things weren't as happy and joyful as they would seem for Paul. Now practically pennyless Paul worked twice as hard and long to bring in enough money to survive. But, this meant he also made risky decisions, many which took all the had gained and thus he fell into depression and drinking. "The next one will be the big one," he kept on saying, but that never happened. One deal, the one he kept on calling the big one, would also be his last deal ever. The family watched as Paul had become nervous days before, and before he left he kissed his wife and children goodbye, and the newest member, Alexandra Woulofen, who had just been born two weeks ago. Paul Woulofen never returned home that night, nor the next brightening, or the brightening after that. And, it wasn't until the third brightening that the body of Paul Woulofen was found by the docks all the way in Port Alyxandrya. A friend of Paul's had discovered his friend laying there dead, a hole in the back of his head from a blunt object. Returning their father to them, his friend paid for the funeral in which many attended. Two patterns later, able to live well from the gifts and such given to them by Paul's wealthy friends, Elizabeth wasn't able to get over the loss of her husband. She was so griefstricken that she fell very ill and thus Stephan was forced to take care of the family. Months later his mother died, and another large funeral was held, but at the end of this one the children were separated. Felix was sent far away to an aunt in Zinn'Sunn, who forced him to enter into bard training. Alexandra was sent to Diana and into the church to be raised to become a priestess, and Stephan was left on his own, with a deed to a house in Prime, which his father had been saving for him when he turned eighteen. Taking the deed Stephan travelled to Aelyria Prime, where with nothing else to do he looked for a job. And while looking that is when he met Paareth and Epicurus Vampyler, who welcomed him into the Stone Guard Mercenary Guild.

General Information

Heritage: Medonian Human Age: 27 patterns old Birthplace: Trysvale Appearance: At 27 patterns old Stephan has still barely lost any of his more youthful looks. He has remained practically the same since his death following the rescuing of the Emperor. It is surely a good thing to retain one's looks, but when that event leaves such emotional scars the results must come into question. At roughly six feet tall he fills the figure well, as he is able to fill out his form with great physical appeal due to his rigorous training. His strength is evident in how he holds himself, the broadness of his shoulders and size of his arms. However, he isn't overall strong or freak-like in appearance, instead he has retained an appearance of lightness and swiftness. With medium-length dark brown hair and dark blue eyes to accompany his handsome face he has always been a man that had drawn the affection of many ladies, and the small scar above his right eye takes nothing away from it. Rich, far richer than he had ever expect to be, Stephan has made sure to associate himself with those he deals with. Silks have become a common garb he has chosen to wear, however lately he has chosen to appear more military/warrior-like. Decked out in his dark black obsidianite breastplate often he combines it with either a blue or red silk shirt underneath which hides the mithril chainmail underneath. He also wears dark pants now when wearing his breastplate and dark black boots. Personality: Kindness: Even after losing both his parents dramatically, Stephan has always been a boy and then man following the encouraging and kind words of his mother. It is this kindness that led him to meet many friends on his journey and led him to save thousands in the Port Alyxandrya War. He has also been known to give crowns to those who need it, and sometimes even hire people who were in need of jobs, especially when they have children. Ambition: If there is one thing that makes him different than many others is that he is incredibly ambitious. Although he had money in childhood his father lost it all, which led to his father's and mother's death. Despite this, Stephan sought adventure, joined the Stone Guard, and went on many adventures. He trained vigourously in the sword, made good friends, made good choices, and thus became very powerful, and he doesn't plan on stopping anytime soon. He has achieved much, lost much, but they are all a means to an end, one that he wants to leave with a great mark in Aelyrian history. Anger: Stephan extremely dislikes when he fails at something, and the anger that it causes can make him do very extreme things. Although it barely ever happens, when it does watch out. Lust: With his good looks Stephan never has a problem at getting the women that he wants. He has had the most beautiful women of Aelyria and very powerful ones, such as Marria de Lupetta. Throughout his journies from city to city Stephan has paid for many women, mostly do to the fact that they require no commitments. His lust has caused many downfalls in his past, most recent past especially, for it cost him the life of the one he loved the most. The more powerful the woman, the more he is interested.

Put in the Deimos Bank. NOTE: For the life of me I cannot find the original income Stephan received, I do believe it was most unfortunately done in PMs with GM Bruce. I see that Bruce is now the Creative Producer of this site. He was the GM at the time Stephan became a lord of House Kailfreet in Medonia. The income was well organized back then and it was only give to me under heavy discussion and work. I do believe it was around 600k total from his general income for his role, but moreso pre-pay and post-pay from him running the large profitable farm. Also, my monetary breakdown is so very screwed up, I know that for I never really kept track of it all besides subtracting with each purchase. I have always been liberal in taking away from my assets with every crown spent, usually taking more than necessary to match other likely purchases one would make daily. And, have given quite much in donations and gifts to others.
