Physical Description:
Short for a Teleris, probably thanks to being half-Nimalni, only 5'10". Jet black eyes, which is especially disconcerting since there are no whites at all. Unkempt straight black hair with dark green highlights, without much body either. Skin Tone is grey/green, almost like a sea-sick Nimalni. Appearance is otherwise typical Thelyri, although his mannerisms are more Nimalni. Viniece also always wears his gold necklace about his neck, which is described below. Viniece isn't much for clothing, since it inhibits the possibility of swimming. However, when he does bother to clothe himself beyond a loin-cloth, it's in a decidedly Nimalni outfit.
Personality:
Being raised Nimalni didn't change his Thelyri nature too much, he's short of words, often speaking only what he considers necessary to convey his thought, which to others is less than what they find they need in order to correctly figure what he means. Prime example of this being his sudden appearance in Jaedaxia, and all he does is ask "Where?". He has, however, picked up their general lack of outward expression of emotion, but this hides the fact that he's really quite emotional under the mask. Viniece is plagued by a need to run in two directions at once, and instead, he runs in a third. On one hand, he feels an intense dread of what he has done, and a need to return to Nimal (and all he did was steal some stuff from the Schola and run away...), on the other hand, he feels a need to search for a settlement of Thelyri and live among them. However, the part of him that's in control very much wants to avoid joining either kindred, and so he flees, ever in search of adventure and ways of torturing himself. He has a death wish, and his fractured self has recently developed into a split-personality, much to his chagrin.
History: Viniece was raised on one of the far southern islands of the Nimalni, but he doesn't really consider himself Nimalni, nor has he ever known his Thelyri family, his father having simply impregnated his mother and returning to the Bellenic Sea. Growing up, his mother never married, having been pregnant before her 15th birthday, the community felt she'd already given up her rights to a family beyond the little Thelyri boy she'd given birth to. This didn't stop them from wanting him to join the community when he turned 15 though!
His mother had arranged for the customary coming of age ceremony with the Ker'Sha, and the Ker'Sha decided to take it upon themselves to appoint one of themselves to be his "Father" in a betrothal to a girl who would turn 15 in just a few short cycles, hearing about this betrothal from one of his friends at his coming of age, Viniece dove into the sea the day after.
By the time he returned, the Ker'Sha had decided it'd be pointless to try to treat him as a normal Nimalni, however, they enrolled him in school and didn't outcast him... at least, not completely. The young Nimalni openly ridiculed him for his unusual appearance, his running away from marriage, and his other peculiarities.
While in school, he studied many things, but he spent an almost inordinate amount of time poring over what little the Nimalni knew about the Thelyri. Which was, of course, almost nothing. What he did learn, was that the Thelyri were even more reclusive than the Nimalni he'd been left with.
When Viniece turned 80 ordinations old, he decided it was time to set off on his own adventure, he was an adult, he reasoned, and besides, it wasn't as if any of the Nimalni could actually restrain him once he gained water.
He stole Aelyrian currency, a visa, and meager supplies, stripped off his Nimalni garb down to his bare loincloth and dove into the southern seas, only to appear again when he reached the Aelyrian port Jaedaxia.

2. Where and when were you born?
A small Nimalni town on Nimalnus, Era 10168. Before the Aetherfracture.
3. Who are/were your parents? (Know their names, occupations, personalities, etc.) Never met father, so don't know anything about him.
Mother was a Nimalni woman who was mostly discarded by her community for having me before she was 15, she was taken care of, but given no responsibilities, and offered no marriage.
4. Do you have any siblings? What are/were they like?
None that I know.
5. Where do you live now, and with whom? Describe the place and the person/people.
I have just arrived in Jaedaxia after a years long swim in the High Seas. The people here seem very unusual to me, but I hope to make my home here anyways.
6. What is your occupation?
None.

As far as Viniece knows about himself... He can't exactly see his behind too well, so there might be something there...

9. Do you have any allergies, diseases, or other physical weaknesses? None out of the usual for a Thelyri, typical Thelyri weakness to dryness and sensitivity in the gills.

Ambidextrous. It takes a lot of effort with both arms to keep steady swimming.
11. What does your voice sound like?
Deep, resonating. Capable of reaching to tones well below audible hearing for most creatures, however, also capable of scaling up to a mens alto.
12. What words and/or phrases do you use very frequently?
Nothing really, however, there is a peculiarity in that I try to be extremely concise, almost to the point of not being understandable.
13. What do you have in your pockets?
No pockets, I'm wearing a loincloth. My oiled pack contains some food rations, my coin, and a stolen Visa. BTW, all these things were stolen.
14. Do you have any quirks, strange mannerisms, annoying habits, or other defining characteristics? The above mentioned lack of speech, a tendency to deny relationships, and a very conflicted sense of self.

15. How would you describe your childhood in general? Horrible. They treated me quite nastily, a product of lust. Someone who didn't want to marry when it was offered. A sea deamon on land.

My mother gave me the necklace I now wear on my neck, described above.

Depends on what part of school, didn't particularly like the classes, the teachers were such hypocrites! The books though... Oh how I loved the Library!

I'm skilless, as for my natural racial abilities... they're natural!

I quite literally hated everyone. They were all hypocrites, even my mother.
21. While growing up, how did you get along with the other members of your family? I didn't really. I always prefered being alone.

Reading. Oh how I do love a good book!

I had only one friend, the only person of the bunch who wasn't a hypocrite, he really did try to understand me, and in turn, I wasn't quite as short with him...

27. Are you a virgin? If not, when and with whom did you lose your virginity? Virgin, and has no clue about sex whatsoever. Oh sure, he's read about it, but he seriously thinks it a waste. After all, it was sex that brought his worthless existence into being.

40. Are you basically optimistic or pessimistic? Pessimistic, although I'll constantly claim to merely be stating things as they really are. Others say "Half full", or "Half Empty", Viniece says "Half glass".
41. What is your greatest fear? Viniece doesn't really know "fear" per say, that's not saying he doesn't have any fears, merely that he hasn't allowed the emotion to control him.
42. What are your religious views? We are the makers of our own destinies, although we're doomed no matter what, no God determines it, we are doomed because we cannot do perfect.
43. What are your political views? Politics are the realm of corrupted, hypocritical, controlling people, not only to be avoided, but to be descried.
44. What are your views on sex? As previously covered, it brings more creatures into the world to doom them, seriously a thing to be avoided, a plague of emotion.
45. Are you able to kill? Under what circumstances do you find killing to be acceptable or unacceptable? Although I haven't killed before, I find the idea of killing corrupted hypocrites not one to be avoided.
46. In your opinion, what is the most evil thing any human being could do? Get involved in politics.
47. Do you believe in the existence of soul mates and/or true love? No. All sexuality is based in lust, to say otherwise is to be blinding yourself to the truth of the doom of sentience.

49. How honest are you about your thoughts and feelings (i.e. do you hide your true self from others, and in what way)? I hide my feelings, but I consider this hiding of feelings to be my true self. To admit my feelings would be to reject the doom.

51. Is there anything you absolutely refuse to do under any circumstances? Why do you refuse to do it? Return to Nimalnus, they treated me as an outcast, yet pretending to be admitting of all.

53. In general, how do you treat others (politely, rudely, by keeping them at a distance, etc.)? Does your treatment of them change depending on how well you know them, and if so, how? Distantly, and at least a little rude, although the rudeness is not intentional, I merely don't mince words.
54. Who is the most important person in your life, and why? Myself, only I can control how my doom befalls me.
55. Who is the person you respect the most, and why? Myself, only I recognize the doom of sentience.
56. Who are your friends? Do you have a best friend? Describe these people. I had a friend back on Nimalnus... I left him behind, however, he was the only Nimalni who treated me as an equal.

59. What do you look for in a potential lover? There is no love, only lust, which is one of the principal factors of doom, it is to be avoided.
60. How close are you to your family? I do not have a family. I have a mother who raised me in the presence of hypocrites, she descried love for my father, when plainly there cold be no love in a man you slept with only once and never saw again.
61. Have you started your own family? If so, describe them. If not, do you want to? Why or why not? No. No. Family would mean bringing more creatures to doom.
62. Who would you turn to if you were in desperate need of help? No one.
63. Do you trust anyone to protect you? Who, and why? No one.
64. If you died or went missing, who would miss you? I assume my mother misses me in her way, but I don't care.
65. Who is the person you despise the most, and why? My father. It was his lust for my mother that brought me to doom.
66. Do you tend to argue with people, or avoid conflict? I will argue with you if you lay claim that there is no doom, or that politics are good, otherwise, I remain distant.
67. Do you tend to take on leadership roles in social situations? I do not believe I do. If I were, I'd be increasing my doom and theirs. (OOC: his nature of not backing down on his beliefs might make him a leader to some, though)

77. How do you spend a typical Saturday night? Saturday? Oh, you mean Lunaria. Nothing different from any other day. Just so I keep busy.
78. What makes you laugh? I refuse to laugh. Laughing is an expression of pleasure. There can be no pleasure with the doom.
79. What, if anything, shocks or offends you? Hypocrites offend me. Nothing shocks me though, all evil is possible with the doom. Especially since most deny the doom.
80. What would you do if you had insomnia and had to find something to do to amuse yourself? Grab a good book and start reading, if I had one.

By hiding it, same as any emotion.
