Adelyn Weiss was born into a family quite well-off monetarily in Paxia. Floria Leeannsdotter and William Wis were well into their age when Adelyn was born, and they died peacefully in their sleep at the age of 3 Ordinations. This left her older brother Armond, at the time 18, in charge of her upbringing. As a young adult he was fully capable of taking care of Adelyn, but instead he joined the military; this was his way of dealing with the loss of their parents. Adelyn felt neglected with only her caretaker to look after her, a kind old thelyri elf named Kath. The elf frequently told the girl stories of romance, honor, and adventure, including gypsy tales. Slowly the house in which she lived in began to degrade without enough to staff the place since Armond was away. Years later her brother did return, but much changed and in desperate need of crown. Armond turned to a life of crime, providing Adelyn with only the most basic of needs, for the most part leaving her abandoned and alone. Children in Schola made fun of her calling the beauty, "a snobbish child of privilege without any parents." This caused a breaking point of depression for the girl at the age of 12. She tried to kill herself with her brother's dagger, but failed. From that moment on Adelyn realized how wonderful life really is and vowed never to let herself fall so low again. However, it was not until Armond married did Adelyn have any respect in the household. Josephine had made sure Adelyn had shelter when she needed it, and plenty of food. On a trip with the few old friends from Schola she had, the young woman heard that orcs had begun to attack Paxia, her home. Running as fast as she could back she found that her older brother Armond had been savagely killed, and the house, with the few possessions she owned, gone. The Wis estate had been burned and Adelyn fled Paxia with her now-widowed sister-in-law, Josephine. In an attempt to clean her name of Armond's money-making scheming past, Adelyn changed the spelling of her last name to Weiss, keeping the same pronunciation. And so this woman's journey at life begins.

Making her way to Nexus Prime with Josephine Wis after the ravage orc attacks and purchasing a small one-room abode, Adelyn was able to start anew. The fresh start enabled her to meet Viskyia Crow, Roland Moonstar, two key players in her life ever since, at Roland's Birthbrightening celebration. Every single Moonstar welcomed her warmly and thrust her into a life of social gatherings and quite surprisingly, political intrigue. For the first time in her life Adelyn was able to rejoice at spending time with loved ones, only solidifying her friendship with them all by watching the fireworks during the Imperial Brightening. Seeing herself not really permanently living in Nexus despite the friendships Adelyn soon wandered around the city in search of Mama Juju, an adjurator, about which she had heard only quiet rumors. Definitely clinging to her past the girl strove to find out more about her brother, more about the dark events that happened the brightening of the orc attacks. Mama Juju revealed to Adelyn that in fact the orcs did not kill her brother, but instead the trusted Josephine Wis murdered him. Unsure with what to do with herself Adelyn kept the information to herself for over an era, letting the anger boil within until, like water, it simply evaporated away.

Part 1: The Basics 1. What is your full name? I was born Adelyn Wis, but to keep my identity hidden from any criminal ties my brother left behind I changed it to Weiss. 2. Where and when were you born? My hometown is Paxia and my birthbrightening the 16th of Aperitus, making my birthstone Ruby. This knowledge compliments Viskyia, an amazing jeweler. It makes sense because the necklace my mother left me has a gorgeous ruby on it. 3. Who are/were the members of your family? (Know their names, occupations, personalities, etc.) My mother is Floria Leannsdotter, a beautiful Vagaran woman of which I know little about. My father is William Wis, son of Bernard Wis and Anna Leonard. My parents are now unfortunately deceased, and I know next to nothing about them except the fact they were money lenders, not the most reputable of professions, but we managed to live more than comfortably because of it. This is something I'm somewhat ashamed of, sadly. My only hope is that they were kind people underneath all that. 4. Do you have any siblings? What are/were they like? Yes, I had an older brother named Armond. First I have to say that he was savagely murdered by his wife Josephine. Because of this I have mostly forgiven my brother for all his early neglect during my childhood. No anger will give me my brother back, and no amount of anger will grant me a better brother either. Armond was in the military at a young age, but he quickly found out it took a lot of crown to maintain the house and because of it he turned to a life of crime. The specifics of it are unknown to me, however. 5. Where do you live now, and with whom? Describe the place and the person/people. After the orc attacks on Paxia I moved to the neighboring city of Nexus Prime with Josephine (before I knew she killed my brother). There I met Roland Moonstar and Viskyia Crow, two people who have helped me find my ground in this world. From there Roland quickly convinced me that Paxia just needed a little bit of work and that I indeed could make a difference. For about an era I did all I could for the city of my childhood... the city is now rebuilt and like new! Viskyia contacted me then about new prospects in Demios. At all times I must be kept busy and working and helping others so the new city is now my home and there is much to do! 6. What is your occupation? After Schola and returning to Paxia I was made Assistant Aedile. This position I held for about an era after which I traveled to Demios. Now I am the Manager of a grand resort and spa! Plus, I own a very quaint little bakery, too, housed inside the resort. This is so different from my beginnings as a small member of the political world, but I love it nonetheless. 7.
