Race: Human (Kemite)

Age: 19

Physical Description: Apakai stands about 6 feet tall with long dark-brown hair, which he usually keeps in a pony-tail. He has thin dark facial hair, which he shaves every few cycles, but otherwise he spends little time grooming himself.

Apakai has light, olive-covered skin with a golden tattoo of a hawk on his chest. (which stays covered under his clothes.) He has a regular kemite build, thin, but with well defined tone in comparison to his weight.

Apakai can be seen wearing plain black clothing and two standard longswords, one he wears on his waist, the other on his back.

Chapter I

Apakai was born in an Orcish slave camp near Ire, and was the property of a powerful orc warrior named Nurlog. Nurlog was a ruthless master, and reigned supreme over the hidden settlement of orcs, bowing to no one except for the Chieftan Horg. Horg, a powerful warrior in his own right, saw Nurlog as his right-hand man, (or right-hand orc, as it be,) but they were also father and son.

Nurlog, who was the strongest warrior in the tribe, frequented the Angry Pit often as a means of solidifying his role in the small community. Though often injured, Nurlog never lost a single battle. However, in Nurlog's final battle in the angry pit, he took a vicious cut to his right arm before decapitating his opponent with his huge battle axe. The orc warrior was quickly rushed to his hut in the middle of the camp, and put under the care of the orcish herbalists and his slaves. It was this night, as the war drums layed quiet and the orcs went to sleep, that Apakai snuck into his masters room and cleaved the orc in the chest with his own axe.

Apakai ran, but did not make it very far. Especially at night, the camp had had it's share of slave runaways, and the sentries at the edge of town quickly captured the human.

Horg was furious at Apakai, for he had killed his best warrior and his only son. And It was this fury that kept the Chieftan from killing the slave. For brightenings upon brightenings, Apakai was tortured in the worst ways Horg could contrive, bringing Apakai inches from death on numerous occasions. However, Horg decided that this was a fate to good for the slave who killed his son.

Horg decided that Apakai would make a fitting gift for their Vysticchi business partners, who lived in the Province of Centripax. He would send the slave there, and not only be rid of him, but gain the trust of the people with whom his camp had been slave-trading with for years. Before the end of the cycle, Apakai had left the camp, with an group of 4 orcs, bound for the undergound Vysticchi City in Centripax.

It was on this, an adventure in it's own right, that Apakai managed to escape his orcish masters and find the small town of Natura.
