[Parade Grounds] Transfer orders (all Jade personnel)

34th Brightening of the Fourth Cycle of the Month of Imperos in the season of Autumn; Era II of the Celestine Mandate, Era XIV Post Fractum.

Base Commander Jonathan De'Bali had sent order to all Senior Legionaries and graduated Legionaries of the Jade to present themselves in the Parade Grounds after midday. There he waited for them to gather. What a lovely bunch they looked like, with their armors and green cloaks. These men had enlisted in the 30th Imperial Legion and in the begining they'd been nothing but an undisciplined rabble with lack of morale and responsability, right now they were all fine soldiers of the Empire, they were Legionaries.

"You all wonder why I've summoned you all here."

After seeing some nods and confirming moves from the lined up Legionaries he continued.

"It has been a honor to have you here in the Jade Legion, but your time has come. You've all graduated and it is time to be transfered to another Legion. Due to the necessity you will all be transfered to the 9th Imperial Legion, the Manjet Legion, stationed in Taralon, in the Province of Sheria. You all shall embark with the transport vessels that will carry equipment to the Province.

There you will join the hardened veterans of the last war against the Orcs and you will help training and preparing the new Provincial Army. But don't let yourselves be down because of this for you will have many Orcs to kill soon enough.

You are going into a warzone, gentlemen. I bid you good luck and farewell.

You're dismissed."

Provost De'Bali saluted his men and returned to his Office leaving behind a handful of Shield Daekins to take care of the situation.

"Start packing your things, lads! The ships depart in a few Brightenings!"

As I reached the parade grounds I joined the others and stood still.
The news of war came as no surprise. There’ve been rumors of a new war against the orcs for some time. That we were to integrate the New Provincial army by joining the 9th Imperial Legion and that we were to train its soldiers, those were news.

I personally found war appalling and found violence to be the last and most hateful resource, but I, myself, quested for vengeance in a close past and if half of the orc stories I had heard were true, this was the only way to make sure those beast evil presence in this world would come to an end.

I always kept most of my things packed and ready to leave. So, when the order was given I just took the cloth I had left to dry out in the air after washing it, packed it, went to arrange transportation for me and my horse, and waited for the departing order.
