TS: Two days after the longsword training of Teig O'Maolain

Shield Daekin Jard'en Burkid stood in the blackness of the early morning.

He didn't expect Roland moonstar to show.

But he waited.
A wooden standard longsword was sitting on the ground before him, and he faced the only entrance to his section of the training yard.

Would the politician who had the gall to call himself lord protector show up?

only time would tell.

Roland came by and bowed to Shield Daekin Jard'en Burkid. "Thank you for agreeing to this. I understand you are a busy man."

He waited for Burkid to give him instructions as to what they would be doing.

As he bowed, Burkid knocked him in the back with the pommel of the sword, which would send the man stumbling a few steps forward.

"We do not bow to an enemy maggot! I see you want to make yourself a real man! Start with understanding this! You are no better or worse than any man alive! you have the ability to kill, or allow to live! when you understand this, the blade that you seek will fall into your hand, and you will make that decision for yourself. May the gods make it a correct one!

He let Roland recover, and then stepped sideways.
