OOC: In hopes of reducing the risk of inadvertently overlooking various correspondence addressed specifically to Keldon during his stay. Also as a way for me to keep track of all outgoing correspondence , I’d like to request that all those letters be posted here so that they can be contained in one thread that I will check regularly. Please include an appropriate TS and if at all possible, include a link to the location where a reply would be best returned. Thanks.

Twenty Forth Brightening of the Third Cycle in the Month of Imperos in the Season of Summer; Era I of the Celestine Mandate, Era XIII Post Fractum. The First Era of the Regency of Milo L'Evienne.

To: The Aedile of Paxia.
From: Provost Keldon Elsdargon, Imperial Army.

I send you greetings from Alleria Prime my friend. Or atleast as a fellow Paxian I would hope I am allowed to address you as my friend. I would first like to appologise for the basic heading of this letter. With the siege of Paxia not all those lost where accounted for, and I have yet to hear word on all those lost. I have heard nothing of Aedile Lieska or if she still remains in office. If she does, then please extend her my warmest regards for remaining in service to the people of Paxia after such a atrocity. If she has fallen, then I extend my deepest sympathy. Paxia lost alot of brave souls that cycle, and you all in the Aedile's office and in Government hold my upstanding respect for continuing there service to the city.

It was my hopes that after sometime in service to Primus Gaudeo I could return to Paxia and live life there once more. However it has been shown to me the gods have other plans for me, and thus far have directed me in service of the Imperial Army.

With this service I have been placed in the walls of our imperial capital for the time being, however in the future I shall be returning to Paxia. However I am interested in returning to a home, and in helping those that stood with me in defense of the city I wish to give back to the city. I am interested in constructing a compound, perhaps a small keep within the city walls itself. I want to be able to offer lodging to those who wish to remain in the city and help return it to it's former glory.

The specific details of such a structure are not fully aware to myself. After all I personally do not posses the funds capable of building anything extravagant or lavish. However I am more then willing to spend the necessary funds to assist the city in its reconstruction.

P.S: Please extend my greetings to Lady Caransir and Colonel Eisenhowl. It has been sometime since I spoke to the Colonel and I hope he, and his military men are fairing well. I do hope the Lady Thanes injury's are mending well.

The letter arrived two cycles later that what would have been expected; however, the date on the letter reveiled that it had taken longer to arrive to Keldon and longer than what might have usually been to be sent.

I must start off with apologies in time to respond to the letter that you have sent to the city of Paxia. Your reputation in the war alone is good enough that you may call yourself friend to the city of Paxia, I assure you this. Paxia currently has temporary Aediles of which I am but one of three that are looking after the rebuilding. You will be revealed to learn that Aranel has survived the siege of Paxia however she currently holds no position at this time. She has placed a great deal of the losses in Paxia on herself and as if yet is unfit to serve in office. Lieska has yet to be accounted for and is assumed to be dead. If any word arrives than I will be sure to let you know.

I speak for the city when I tell you that you will be more then welcome in Paxia and we look forward to the brightening in while you are able to come. When that time comes then we will discuss the prospects of the compound that you are interested in. While I do not dis-trust the integrity of my messenger for I have chosen her personally I do fear the long roads that are in front of her and do not wish this to be intercepted.

If this letter does not promptly arrive from the date indicated do not blame the messenger, I have told her to be extremely careful as I do not want her to risk her life or this letter. If you wish to send a response please give it to my messenger, she will stay in the city for two brightenings in which time to will have to write a correspondence.

The city needs more people like you, we are struggling greatly forced to rebuild the city with material that is left over from the siege. Even so we will quickly run out of resources as much of it is unusable. The buildings that we build stand strong, we do not compromise structural integrity for cheapness, we only use what can be despite how it may look in some cases. The current military is small and only have a temporary compound, they do not complain but I fear that they may grow disconcert as time goes on. I am sure there can be some way of working together to ensure that the compound that you desire to build becomes a reality. My only concern is time.

There is no warrant for apologies Mr. Kobbs, I have the utmost patience for those in the service of the people. Rebuilding a city from such a state of Paxia is no small task. I did not expect a fast response, but the apologies is greatly appreciated.

Please extend my thanks to Lady Aranel for her timely service to the city, experiencing such a thing is not something you forget so quickly. My own mind still comes to the subject from time to time. I wish her all the best in her future endevours however. Perhaps it will be once more in the service of the city.

Your messenger is in safe hands as of now, and I have seen to it she has recivered Imperial Escort back to the City of Paxia, which no doubt will bring this message to you much faster. There seems to be many willing to oppose Imperial Troops in the open recently, although it seems to be in a select few areas, however that is not something you need to worry about. Tis a concern I must face.

Please inform me of the resources and supples you are lacking. I offered my assistance to the City of Paxia through the arms of your Governor however was returned with a threat that if assistance that posses troop escort crossed into the lands of Arium it would be considered an act of war. However since I no longer sit as Thane, now a Imperial Officer he would have little ability to refuse or block any supplies sent with Imperial Escort or private guard under my direction.

I shall see if I can have the Imperial Garrison there increased to offer more protection to the people. Although I can not offer any guarantees as it is out of my command authority. However while in the capital, or through correspondence I will inquire into the prospect. The compound is something I dream to see, a fortress in Paxia able to defend it from another such attack, or military strike. Although I prey to the god's that such a thing does not happen again.

To me Paxia is a key military location for both Imperial and respective Provincial Military. If I can arrange it I will arrive in Paxia to speak to you in person.

I appreciate the two escorts that you have sent with my messenger. Perhaps there will be a time in which I will be able to repay you for such kindness, hopefully soon. The messenger indeed arrived with good time and I have been told by both your escorts as well as my messenger that they had met little resistance along the way.

Within the brightenings since our last conversation I am pleased to announce that plans to set up camps outside of the city are due to be underway as soon as possible. Unfortunately there is little else that we may count on as we have little to trade at this time. I do not mean to complain as much as it may seem in that respect and for that I apologies to you Mr. Elsdargon. But if you are truly interested it is many things that we need. Wood beling among the highest of all as many wooden things were burned by the orcs. I do not wish for you and the Imperial Officer to be on coarse terms with one another for sending aid to Paxia.

Our plans are to never let the city be taken over again. The compound will be as structurally sound as possible. I know that you are unable to leave your post at this time, but I believe that if you were to return to Paxia it would be a boost to morale. Your name is not unknown even by the citizens and you have a small legacy here for being the one who resisted the orcs to his fullest. The battle may have been lost but you, and many other brave soldiers have not been forgotten I assure you this.

The general health of Aranel is well, however since the war she has not been the same person. Many of the people that had witnessed, or had connections to the war have not been the same. It is my hopes that she will rapidly recover and grow stronger over time and return to her position or one like it.

If for at any reason you require any further information do not hesitate to send me a letter. I hope you do not find it offensive that I do not send anyone back with your escort but everybody is needed in the city.

No appreciation nor a need to apologize for the type of messenger's sent. I, and the people of the Empire would be more then willing to lend aid to Paxia should it require it. Two simple guards to offer a citizen of your city safe protection through the Empire's harsh grounds is but a small token of my respect for the city's perseverance.

To be honest my friend I would know little of my reputation for the actions taken that day. It has only come to greet my ears once since my departure from Paxia. In time I would like to return to Paxia and place a statue dedicated to those that fell during the conflict ontop where the orcish army laid siege to the Rainbow Citadel. To be that would seem to be a fitting sentiment.

Being a former Lord Thane, and then taking on a Imperial Officers carrier my salary has suffered a rather large decline in income. However my financial situation is to say the least lacking. I will hire workers from various locations under my employ to arrive to the woodlands south of Paxia to begin bringing in even more lumber to the city. That is hopefully only the beginning, however to acquire the use of other resources may take sometime. But I promise to see to there timely arrival.

Once the workers have been hired they will be arriving at your camp I would assume. Hopefully this will increase trade within the area and perhaps increase the level of merchants heading towards Paxia to re-establish trade routes.

I have no greater confidence in the fact that Paxia should not fall once more, and should a opposing force come against the city they will find the souls of Paxia unwilling to leave there homes, and willing to defend there family's and the city once more.

I however do understand the strain that is placed on Lady Aranel, at times the memories of the nightly warfare taken place on the walls of the Citadel creeps into my mind. However I push through it with the smiles and the strength that was shown by the people that day. It is truly a testament to there detimination to work as a single entity to protect there homes. Please send her my warmest regards and I wish her all the best. I learned much while in her service and I am forever in her debt.

The marine felt ill-at-ease, considering the fact that there were just armies of mudeaters crawling around this place, which was to be expected. This was the Citadel, after all, home of the Imperial Legions...and while he too held a sword, he was aligned more with those of a more...seafaring nature.

Nevertheless, he had his orders, and so did he carry them out, delivering a letter sealed with blue wax accordingly.

It is my greatest pleasure to make your acquaintance, and I must profess my congratulations on your donning the uniform and serving under the standard of the Legions. A man of your exploits deserves no less. I should like to invite you to pracenda or rosyun one of these brightenings, and discuss matters of mutual interest regarding Paxia.
