As I approach the third year anniversary of my mother's passing, I am reminded and comforted by the outpouring of positive energy and support I received from the Aelyria Community during those difficult days. On Friday night, I enjoyed a sojourn with the woman of my life into the past as we stepped into a movie theater and enjoyed a cute retro date. I have long been a fan of the cable news networks and their websites. Especially MSNBC.com, which I viewed for the longest time as elegant simplicity that had become timeless in both form and function. Web 2.0 has matured beyond the craze that it was in 2005 and 2006, and has now become the standard by which all other web sites are measured. If you're not empowering your users and giving them options to control how data is being presented to them, the site is basically stuck in the stone ages....
