Its Hot

I don't know a lot of you here in Aelyria, however, those of you whom I have met are so wonderful, special people.

Right now it is very hot here and thus I must stay inside a lot. I used to live on a ranch here, and had horses for me and my daughter, but she is now grown and its just me and my psycho wonderful cat, Kitten. Her name is Dallas, but I have always called her Kitten and thats what she answers too. She scolds me and keeps me in line.

My daughter is a Phoenix police officer and I am very proud of her. I am also scared for her. Unfortunately Phoenix is a deadly place sometimes and several officers have lost their lives recently. I always watch their funerals and support their families, because it could be me there grieving. She is engaged to a lieutenant in the force and plans on taking her sargeants test soon. She is finally off the streets as a patrol officer, which is great for me. I never thought she would leave patrol because she loved her job as a peace officer. She has put in to be a detective.

I've given away my age I guess, but the outside doesn't matter. Its whats on the inside and I have always been young at heart. In fact I'm so young at heart that playing the little sprite has drawn something out of me that I'm not always able to express as a grownup. She is fun, and young, and loves life. Just like me!
