Chronian
Mostly found in ruins of ancient cities, these tall elegant wild felines are often depicted in the artwork of tombs of civilizations predating the Aelyrian Empire. Historians and scholars think that sometime in the past these wild felines were actually domestic partners of humanoids, and have only gone feral due to the decline of certain civilizations.
These strange lithe felines seem to dwell in two worlds at once, and are rumored to have an innate magical ability which allows them to see into the past or future. Scholars have found records in ancient texts which indicate gazing into these animals’ eyes and questioning them will lead their eyes to reflect the answer the seeker is searching for. Whether true or not, these creatures are reported to have less than 100 living individuals remaining in their wild population. They are solitary, breed only but rarely, and are elusive to those seeking to find them. The Chronian is best described as tall sleek feline which has a lithe delicately boned form. Though extremely thin, their regal stature places them squarely in the large sized category, though their weight is lighter than most large felines. Their coats come in all sorts of patterns and solid colorings.
