Bobcat

A medium sized wild feline, the Aelyrian Bobcat is a short robust muscular cat with large tufted ears, and absolutely no tail whatsoever. Their coats come in brindled shades of brown and grey that get paler as winter sets in and darker during the warmer months. These predators are fiercely territorial, have small home ranges that span impossibly rugged territory, and subsist on almost anything they can kill and eat. Most commonly found in mountainous areas, high up above population zones, bobcats rarely bother humans and elves in their everyday lives. These animals are shy, reclusive, and very successful in harsh environments. They live in life-time pair bonds where one male and one female mate for life.
