I've been thinking a little bit about where I want to take Jhom. So far in my threads I've established that he is ambitious and enthusiastic but lacks discipline and is often reckless.
I have been picking fights in practically every thread, not because Jhom is a bad guy but because he is constantly looking for oppourtunities to prove himself.
So far so good, I'm happy with that. But what do I do next? Does Jhom learn from his experiences and become wiser, not necesarilly less ambitious but more aware of danger. Or do his combat encounters simply serve to inflate his ego further and make him seek out bigger challanges?
If he becomes wiser how do I reflec this; does Jhom go out to learn some more skills, magic, shamanism, tactics, etc. Or does he attempt to interract more with others, realising that others can be of value to him as opposed to just providing sport?
If he becomes more reckless do I send him in search of ever greater challanges or perhaps have him seek out his own people and attempt to take authority over a clan?
These are the questions I'm asking at the moment. I don't want the character to become too convoluted, I think simplicity makes for good role playing.
