I like it, but something just came to mind when I looked at it. What if the designs on the corners included the colors of the emblem? The general background black, the forward layers on the front gold, and then fade to the rear into silver. To produce something like the eagle's effect. Then a combination of redish fade to end it all.

To make the four "statues" stand out, but to have the center emblem stand out the most... *ponders* im rambling heh
