Arakmat Frontierlands Locations
he Ziggurat
The Ziggurat is a structure that was built by Katta Slaves (under the Dorin occupation) as a religious monument. It is a religious temple-like structure to the Goddess Lunaisa- the Dorin Goddess of the Moon. It was later expropriated by the Human Sultans of Arakmat to be used as a temple to worship Ioannes.
akra Tower
Bakra Tower is just a simple military outpost built by the Dorins and Humans of Arakmat previously marking the border between the independent Sultanate of Arakmat and the Aelyrian Empire. Today, it's small tower, a defensive structure in the desert with less than 50 troops.
altair Castle
Paltair Castle is a fortress built by the bedouins near the Dervish Oasis; rumoured to be a place where fabulous treasures are stored.
ervish Oasis
Managed today by Centaurs and Liontaurs.
abrata
Dervish Oasis is the major stop-over spot on the trip between Cabrata (a small trading down in the foothills) and Arakmat; the Dervishes (long-bearded wise-men) live there in quiet reflection and contemplation.
tranglesands
Perilous quicksands north of Arakmat and South of Khetat. They're just very dangerous to travel through, and inhabited with sand-serpents (worms that travel in the sands).
alpier
Talpier was the first colony city of Arakmat, before Arakmat was a Sultanate, but back when it was a Principality.: Arakmat became a Sultanate when the Emirates of Zenith and Nadir were destabilized and joined Arakmat in a three-way alliance to form the modern-day Sultanate. Talpier was a colony renowned for its fountain plazas.
akaar Fortress
It was built by the Al-Hakaar Family, the ruling dynasty of Arakmat, to impose order upon Zenith and Nadir after the two of them joined Arakmat. It is the major military installation in the desert, with probably around 60,000 legionnary troops.
ort Zairu
Fort Zairu, the major border-point between North Arakmat and the Deserts, has around 20,000 troops.
hetat
Khetat was a border trading village at the edge of the desert. Colonized by the Zenithian Dorins. (In the same way that Cabrata was colonized by the Nadirian Dorins.)
