Sooo I decided to be a bit of a copycat and take a leaf from Goss's book since a few people have accused us of being similar... I might as well continue with the similarities and start ranting in my GM office  haha but no, not necessarily ranting... more like rambling.
It's a little sad in a way how important Aelyria has become to me recently. I've been separated from all of my RL friends (darn you college taking my friends away from me) so the only friends I connect with on a regular basis are my Aelyria ones... haha. As Michael (Eraisuithon) pointed out snarkily earlier tonight -- I lead a very exciting life. Not. XD
But my spontaneity keeps me from going crazy from the boredom. I mean, heck, I woke up one morning and decided to drive cross country to Oregon! You can't get more spontaneous and exciting than that. It was pretty fun, too. I'm definitely thinking my next destination will be Pennsylvania... though I want to fly. No more road trips for me for a while.
*sighs* The sad thing is that I do get bored with my life waaaay too easily. I'm constantly flopping about and being very butterfly-esque, flittering from place to place and thing to thing... but I'm only 19! I'm not supposed to know what I want to do. It drives me crazy when my mom harasses me about what I'm going to be doing in two years. How the heck should I know? I might be over in Florence, Italy (man I wish... I freaking love that place) or I might be back in Portland or I might be up in Pennsylvania or for all I know I might have a tragic accident and in two years I might be dead! (Meep >.< I hope not. That'd put a damper on things).
What's wrong with me making things up as I go? Why can't I just play it by ear? I royally suck at planning (and everyone close to me knows that... or at least should by now) and I've always lived on the fly. Why should it suddenly become a problem when I'm nearing my 20s? I mean, yes, I agree I need stability in my life but right now... I'm still a teenager!
Wow... this took a drastically different turn than I originally thought LOL. But seriously. I don't know, I guess this is one of those things where you can't have your cake and eat it too. You want to be treated like an adult and then when you're asked if you're financially stable you realize living off your pocket change and the tips you make from being a waitress/barista just aren't cutting it. And it sucks being a legal adult and still having to live in your mom's house, for the record. Because you can do so much but you still have to live by her rules. Which makes sense and I respect that -- her roof, her rules... but seriously... some of those rules are just plain silly and make me want to dash right back out of here. Ya know there was a reason why I left.
I got suffocated.
But anyway XD Aelyria is my happy place for the time being. True there are some things lurking around here that make me headwall repeatedly or make gagging noises from the safety of my room, but overall there are so many people whose company I enjoy on here  They make my day and bring a smile to my face and I honestly don't know what I would do without them... you know who you are. My special buddies <3
*counts down the days until Rob is back from his vaca* SOOOON and then I get my BNFF back again! *dances* If you end up reading this Rob, just know that I've really missed you. You are officially one of my best Aelyria friends. And hopefully that will translate over into RL when I harass you in person ... and hopefully we won't end up in jail LOL. I could so see that happening. Over something silly too... like indecent exposure.
