Hi guys - feeling a little "wow" about all of this stuff - cos Hay'aan's not actually involved in it herself, I guess, I'm having some trouble keeping up. Is there anything I should be doing? I think I've done all my stuff... sorry - we did talk about Hay'aan having some role to play here in the CG, but I don't think anything was decided... I'm happy and chilled and will go wherever and do whatever is needed.

I did a few gardner NPCs, although if there were other plans that I missed we can ignore them or make them waiters or something. I'm having a distracting week, my grandmother is dying and everyone in my family has pinkeye.

Thom Greenmeadow is the Cether head gardener. Thom stands a bit under 4 feet tall with brown curly hair and what he likes to refer to as a “well rounded” physique. He actually is quite strong, under the roly-polyness. He is an avid and talented gardener, and likes nothing better than spending his days with his hands in the dirt. Not much of a talker, but friendly and calm if you can get him to say anything.

Sully Greenmeadow is Thom’s sister. Like him, she is an avid gardener, but likes people more and lacks Thom’s skill level. She is the only person Thom talks to readily, and she often acts as his “interpreter,” dealing with people so that he won’t have to. Like Thom, she has brown curly hair and runs to plumpness.

Myx is a slender half-elven girl of average height, with straight faultless blonde hair and a precise manner. She is fast and efficient, and while she may at first seem distant she is always sympathetic when spoken to, and usually had good advice to give. Nothing ever seems to surprise her, and making her angry would seem an impossible task. Always seems tidy, even when her coveralls are dirty. She prefers not to give her last name for reasons best known to herself.

Jarel Wheelwright is a tall burly human with thick black hair and beard. His strength is impressive, and he is handy when heavy work needs to be done. His voice is deep and has a quality that gives the impression that he is a little slow, but those that know him find him adequately smart.

Myron Penman is a thin wiry human with straight blonde hair. He is friendly, talkative, and prone to impressive bursts of energy. When he gets wrapped up in a project he will forget to eat or take breaks, and sometimes has to be coaxed in by the other gardeners. Myron is an enthusiastic dancer in his off hours.

The Ballroom

The Ballroom at the Crystal Gardens was in keeping with the rest of the resort and its close connection with nature and the jungle specifically. The room itself was, in fact, a large square room with whitewashed stone walls right the way around. These whitewashed walls reflected the light that poured in from the large windows. The floor in here was of the same sort of highly polished wood which was the floor of the main reception.

The far outside wall, however, was not the whitewashed stone but consisted almost entirely of wooden doors. The floor-to-ceiling height of the doors meant that the large wooden panels were easily folded back, in to a concertina affair which opened up the entire wall to the outside.

Should the guest wish it, that would be where the ballroom ended, however, for the larger affair there was the option of the large awning which could be attached. This was a large wooden frame, octagonal in shape, which attached to the far wall, so that if needed the doors would concertina back and the room would almost double in size.

In fair weather, the doors could be opened, the sides of the marquee-like awning pulled back and tables and chairs placed in the outdoors. Should the weather be less temperant, there were shutters on all the windows and the canvas sides to the awning were very sturdy indeed, attaching to a low stone wall which ran the length of the awnings wooden frame.

The walls were clear of decoration in here, but there were lots of hooks and other appendages where lanterns and other decorations could be hung, allowing the ballroom to be decorated according to the wishes of the guests who had hired it.

hmmm.. not sure... what'cha think. It's better, I know that much, but I'm not sure if it's quite.... right yet.

Sorry I've been lackadaisical here. What can I do? I will have to do it tomorrow but I am willing to help.

Okay, this is whats left to do.

1. I need to put in descriptions for the restaurant and spa. (I already wrote them, just needs added)
2. Write up complete business plans for the Spa, Bar, and Giftshop so they actually earn money separately as well (not done)*
3. Submit plans to new GM or Directorate for Approval (not done/cant do until #2)
4. Prod Adelyn to see if she wants to run the Giftshop or still wants to open a sweet/bake shop. (will create a plan for her if she wants one but only after a price list is added).
5. Write a Menu for the First Month at the Restaurant (not done)
6. Finish any unwritten descriptions... rooms/grounds/etc (think M'caiyha had a bead on this not sure though - not done).
7. Alter map to change reception into bake/sweets shop at Adelyn's Approval.
8. Look Everything over... throw it in. All the hard work is really already done. Its just busy work left.

If anyone wants to help with anything, they are welcome too.

Jasmyn, sorry but we have the spa covered now in terms of description and development. Hay'aan did the price list and I did the price package which was all that was really left to do. We gave you time to put it together etc... but thought you'd lost interest.

* The Business Plan for the CG did not factor in any profits for these facilities (just the restaurant and rooms) because I'd hoped PCs would take them over and run the individual businesses as personal projects. Garit has done an amazing job on his work with the bar so I'm going to set that up for him to earn all the profits through the reverie, and dump it back into his pocket so whatever work he does there he benefits from. Same with whomever takes an active interest in the spa/giftshop, though these will be run through the reverie so that the cult retains interest if situations change (aka they can hire/fire PC/NPCs at whim).
