The Black Hoof Stables and Animal supply
One of the scattered shops throughout Acumin seems to be a bit noisier then the rest. As you approach you can hear various commotion coming forth. The call of a bird, the neigh of a horse and even the squeal of a pig among various other sounds raise up from the building. A sign hangs off the side of the shop from one protruding branches of the trees that make up the building. Inside only gives you a visual of where all the commotion was coming from. The smell so commonly associated with animals tingles your nose. Animals are scattered everywhere throughout the store. Whether caged, tied up or even the occasional one running free, animals are everywhere. Rows of spacious cages provide aisles going parallel to one another. As you continue down the one of the isles you can't help but look in some of the cages. Looking in you might see a puppy or a lizard or even a bird of some sort.
When you walk you hear the sound of various bird feed crunching under your feet. As you finally reach a counter of sorts you don't see anyone at first. Looking more closely however you will see a Halfling busy with work beneath the counter. As he notices you he stops his work mumbling to himself as he steps up onto his box that makes his head visible from under the counter. The Halfling is old and balding with a ring of silver hair around his head. He has a long pointy nose and wears glasses. He lets out a smile and begins to speak;
"Ah serale, my name is Gaffel Brondertree. I am the owner and manager of this fine establishment. Do you seek a faithful companion? I can show you the stables as well if you wish. Have a look at the prices of you wish."
The Hobbit then points to the price list attached to the end of the desk. The desk, made of tangled branches and vines, seems to be holding the piece of parchment down to itself. The paper reads as follows:
