New System Implementation - Important!
Well, if you haven't heard about it then you're in trouble
If you don't know about the new system, then I urge you to read the new Player's Handbook, the announcement at the top of the forum, and threads in various forums, such as the OOC boards and Creator's Corner.
Basically, what happened starting today, is that AGMs are no longer required, and essentially, PCs now inherit the abilities that AGMs had.
Now, I'm still a little fuzzy on it myself, even after reading the Handbook so if you need help understanding it I would suggest PMing someone other than myself Or, chat usually is a good place to go with any questions
Since there's no AGMs now and the new system has been implemented, then all threads, are, basically, turned over to you PCs to moderate yourselfs as you see fit, unless of course, a GM is needed.
Saying that, it's still an option to have a GM or, a PC, moderate your thread for you if you don't want it to be self-moderated. Hence the purpose of this thread.
If you have a thread that you want moderated by me, post a link here. If you want another PC to moderate it, then go ahead and arrange that too If you can't find someone to moderate your thread, you can post here too, asking for help
Phew, I think that's everything. Obviously, in the next few days bits and pieces in the Abestat forum will probably be changing a little in the next few days to accomodate the change in the moderation system.
Also, I'm not sure if any of my former (?) AGMs are reading this ,but if you are, feel free to moderate anything in your PC form if you so wish

Ah! I am so confused! I guess I'll get this soon enough, though! Anyways...I was wondering if you could continue moderating the Hunt For The Fallen thread considering that there are many people in it and I have no idea how this system works yet. Thanks a bunch! I hope you are having a nice summer vacation!

Sorry for my prolonged absense, I seem to have picked up some mysterious illness (possibly too much heat + not enough food/drink).
Anyway, I'm not particularly better get but I've managed to drag myself to the computer to let you all know...
As for the queries....
Yarrow - I'll definitely be continuing to mod that thread once I'm better
Devinette - That's no problem, you can self-mod yourself at the city gates.

Yikes - a bit late in posting here. But, as we've spoken in the PMs, my Ambitious Proposal would still be modded by you... Although I'm still waiting for your response on my Elementalism training thread.

Quick question...or two... I'm not ready to mod adventures and teaching threads. Could someone take care of Krono (and myself) at this thread as well as the Looking for the GU thread???? Only when you have a chance anyone. I'm in no real hurry! Thanks a bunch! -yar-

If i have threads that were previously being modded by AGMs, do i continue to be modded by them or do I just continue it myself?

*stumbles into the thread* whoops, sorry about my prolonged absence, jetlag is a pain *snores*
Ahem.
Yarrow - I'll take the GU thread. As for the college, you can peer/self-moderate or whatever the reaction of the clerk, or some kind PC can do it for you
Xanta - I see you've already been posting anyway, but I'll still reply You can either self-moderate them, or get another PC to moderate it for you. Or, if it's something you'd prefer a GM to do, then you can ask me as well As for training times, I don't think it matters how often you post in the thread, but you can't proceed to the next level of profieciency until a certain amount of IC time has passed (see this page in the new player's handbook). For instance, if you're doing basic training in a weapon, you'll have to wait a season, or three months IC from the beginning of the basic thread, until you can learn intermediate. I hope that makes sense!
EDIT: One other thing I should mention, is that any self or peer-moderated threads need approval from a GM before they can be um... definitely confirmed as having happened. If that makes sense (to stop people doing silly things/power playing/doing something completely out of character in the city, etcetcetc. Obviously, with shops and things, this isn't going to matter, and for training threads it's particularly important).
So if you've got a training thread, or some other type of thread that needs GM verification at the end of it to say you've officially received the level in training or whatever, just drop me a PM abou t it. I'll try to keep up with reading everything in the forums anyway but I might not get around to it all
