Noontime, 5th Cycle of Ponutis

The thelyri moved nside the inn, looking for an open table. Shortly enough, Katelyn and Celeste would arrive, and he would need to find a suitable table for them to dine on and where they could speak freely with few others too close.

Eventually, he chose a table a little of to the side of the fireplace, as best as he could in the noontime crowd, and set himself down there. He made sure that it was a bit distant enough, that their conversation would easily be covered by the ambient noises of the lunch-time crowd within the White Dragon.

Katelyn had just finished doing her shopping at the market place. Like planned, she and her companions were to meet at the White Dragon to discuss their business proposal. She knew that she had plenty of time; 5 minutes to spare actually, but there was no harm in getting their first.

Katelyn walked into the White Dragon Inn. It was her first time inside the inn. Her eyes widen when she saw the vast amounts of people. She found it strange how she never heard of this place before since there were so many people dining here. She stood by the entrance and looked around for any of her friends.

She finally found Junzo in the corner of the room; he had already secured their seats by the fire place. She waved to him and she started to make her way to the table. She called out, "Serale, Mizushin. You are here early." She smiled at the man.

Celeste stared anxiously up at the suns, wondering if she was late or not. Of course that did nothing to help her movement since she had to keep narrowly dodging the other pedestrians in the streets. Finally stopping before the door of the White Dragon Tavern, she chewed on her lip hesitatedly. Having just gotten off from work, she was still dressed in her old breeches and linen shirt and even though she attempted to straighten her hair so that she might at least make a semi-presentable appearance, she knew that she did not look her best.

Shrugging in resolution, she pushed open the door and her eyebrows snapped together as she looked around the place for any sight of Katelyn or Mizushin. Well, turned out luck was on her side. Both of them were already there, seemingly having had already made themselves comfortable at a table by the fireplace.

Smiling softly, she quickly made her way toward the two. "Serale, Katelyn, Mizushin. I hope I'm not too late . . ."

"Ah, there you are." Junzo greeted Katelyn with a wave. The thelyri stood up from his seat as she drew close, and drew away from the table one of the chairs for her. "I haven't been here long, I just got here a short while ago myself." He gestured for her to take a seat as he spoke, waiting for her to seat herself before moving back towards his own chair.

He had hardly began to walk over to his seat again when another familiar voice reached his ears. The thelyri turned around and found himself looking at Celeste. "Serale to you as well! Come, take your seat, we haven't been here long." He shifted, and took out the other chair for Celeste as well, once again waiting for her to take her seat before he walked back to his own chair.

"Ah, so, shall we eat first or shall we talk about your cafe for a bit before settling down to eat?"

Celeste smiled at Mizushin as he pulled out her chair for her. "Thank you, Mizushin." The last time she had a guy be a gentleman and help her with her seat . . . it was Krono. She faltered slightly before taking a seat. Boy, I really have quite a sad life . . .

At the man's inquiry, she hesitated slightly before glancing over at Katelyn. "Well, I . . . really don't care. We could always eat while discussing our, er, cafe . . . unless you don't want to mix business with pleasure." She grinned. "If talking about business during meal times gives you indigestion, I suppose we could always get the subject out of the way first before eating." She finally decided to leave it up to her friend's decision. "What do you think, Katelyn? If you're hungry, we could always eat first instead . . ."

Katelyn smiled. "That's good that you haven't been here long. After all we didn't want you to wait." Katelyn took the seat that the thelyri man had offered her. "Why, Mizushin you're such a gentlemen." She grinned back at him.

Before she could sit down, she heard the familar voice of Celeste. Katelyn offered her a big smile and gestured her to sit down on the seat offer to her by Junzo. She smiled at the girl. It seemed that she did not come properly clothed for the inn. She was still in her work attire. "My Celeste, if I didn't know you I would think that you were a different person from the girl last night at the club. Is your job stressful?"

She took her seat and stared at her companions as they decided what to do. "Well, why don't we just order something while we talk about the plans. I'm very sure were all hungry by now." She waved her hand hoping to get the attention of a waiter. She looked around and waited for a response.

Junzo shook his head. "No, not at all..let's order some food, we can talk while enjoying our meal. I'm sure you're quite hungry enough from your job. Please, let me." The thelyri smiled politely at the two ladies, then turned around and raised a hand to call the Dragon's best waitress over. "Excuse me? Some service please?"

OOC: Since Emjanss said she couldn't be here for FT reasons, I'll mod this for you

IC: Noticing a few customers that needed to be served, Red ambled over to the table where the trio of elves had sat themselves. Being around noon, the inn was quite crowded, mainly with workers and such grabbing a bite to eat in their mid-day break.

Red nodded at Junzo, recognising the man who had been interested investing in the place, though Red had only pointed him in the direction of the Bloomsbury instead.

"Serale. What can I get ya this brightening?"

"Ah, hello there...how goes the business, Red? " Junzo smiled and greeted the large fellow with the tone of a somewhat familiar friend, though certainly more casual then anything. He'd spent quite a bit of time now and then in the White Dragon, though as of late, with the purchase of a home he'd spent less time in the tavern.

"Me and my companions here wish to have a bit of a meal. Why don't you whip something up for us, eh?" He gave the man a polite smile as he leaned over and clasped a hand on Red's shoulder. "The bill's on me." He spoke in a lower tone of voice.

"Now, ladies..." He turned away and looked back at Katelyn and Celeste. "What do you wish to eat? Let's get our orders done, and we can get to discussing things."

Katelyn watched as the man approached their table. The half thelyri had thought it strange that she did not notice Emjanss around. She was the usual waitress at the White Dragon. Anyway she was happy to meet a new face. “Serale, Red. How do you do? My name is Katelyn. I believe we haven’t met before.” She smiled to meet his acquaintance.

Katelyn grinned. “Mizhuin, you’re too kind. We thank you for the food, but next time I insist on treating.” She turned to Red to give her order. “Ah, I will have some steam clams and some ale, if you will” She turned back to her companions to see what they wanted to order.

She hoped that the food would come soon for Katelyn was an anxious girl. She wanted to discuss her ideas over their meal.

Celeste smiled at the man taking their orders. Listening quietly as Mizushin greeted him in a genial manner, she managed to catch his name. Red, huh? Original . . .

She didn't quite hear Mizushin's generous offer because of his low tone so she blinked blankly for a minute when Katelyn thanked him. Smiling sheepishly, she nodded quickly, "Uh, wow, um, thanks! But yes, next, er, next time - after Katelyn - it'll be my turn to treat you all."

She grinned before turning to Red. Her eyes danced at Katelyn's order. "Hmm . . . sounds good. I think I'll have the same as my friend here . . . except I'll have cider instead of ale." She nodded politely at the man. "Thank you."

"Very well then, if you so wish to." He nodded graciously, bowing over just a bit with a friendly smile to show his appreciation of their offers. He shifted and turned to Red once again. "As for me, I'll have the house special, as always, and some cider. How much would all of that cost?" He asked of Red, reaching into his pockets for a sum of crowns to pay for it all.

"Ah, not so bad, not so bad." Red answered Junzo's question with a nod and turned to Katelyn as she introduce himself, a grin on his grizzled features. "Serale there, Katelyn, good ta meetcha. Always nice to 'ave new customers in the tavern."

Red made a mental list as the three separate orders were listed, and nodded, saying them back to the three elves to confirm he had got everything right.

"Right, so that'll be two steamed clams, one 'ouse special, two ciders and an ale. That'll be 49 crowns in total." Red paused, and waited for Junzo to count out the required amount of money, before adding, "I'll bring yer drinks over in a bit, and I'll send the order through ta the kitchen. Gem'll getcha food ready and cooked in a bit."

Katelyn smiled at Red. He seemed to be on top of things, unlike other waiters who have served her before. Katelyn couldn't stand waiters who would forget her order and cook up something she didn't ask for. Katelyn nodded. "Yes, that is right." She winked at him. "So...how long have you been a waiter at the White Dragon?"

When Red mentioned the price of the meal, Katelyn turned towards Mizushin. She grinned at him, while twisting a piece of her auburn hair with her index finger. "Thanks again for the meal," she said in a playful tone. "We really appreciate it. Besides, you will be eatting with two beautiful maidens, so its worth it."

She wiped the smile off her face, since she wanted to get down to business. She looked to her two companions. "Lets proceed to discuss the ideas of our coffee shop. Shall we?"
