Demda is an upstanding Citizen
Demda’s eyes bulged at the dwarf’s apparent lack of reaction to her assault on his tankard. Decidedly, this was an odd dwarf. This…

Whoosh! And then as quick as that, the tankard went sailing toward Demda’s… pretty face? Leave it to a dwarf to think of Demda as anything but homely. Her face was covered in scars, and marred by a perpetual scowl, and her nose apparently being previously broken. She was rough-looking to the point that no elves, and few humans would think her pretty. But still, if one looked past all of those imperfections, they might see her as attractive. But her face definitely wouldn’t remain that way any longer if that tankard shattered against it at full force.

Demda may have been a little buzzed, but she was wound tight as a drum, and had been ready for a fight when she hit his tankard. As the mug came flying at her face, she swerved her head to the side, simultaneously raising both arms to shield her face. The tankard ricocheted off of her knuckles and then hit her in the temple, eliciting a pained grunt from Demda. The blow disoriented her for a moment, but she was relatively unharmed.

Her own arms blinded her to what the dwarf was doing next. Soon, a chair went flying, and the brawl was underway. Demda’s arms halted the progress of the chair through the air, but not before it left what would probably turn into a few nasty bruises on her arms come the morning. The pain was negligible for the moment, however, as the adrenaline was beginning to flow. Demda fell into the afar stance, with her legs spread shoulder length apart, and her center of gravity low. Her arms were close together and connected at the forearms, ready to defend, while her legs were poised for attack.

While it was normally her custom in fights to wait and see what her opponent did next, or to note how he moved, she felt it best to step things up a bit. So she launched a kick toward the edge of the table, aiming to knock it over and into stunted little stinker.

OOC: What do you say we decide when the other person's attempts are successful, instead of having a middle man decide it for us every round? Makes for a more fast-paced fight, I think. Otherwise, if that's not ok Adder, I can modify my post.
